So I finished the flight and found a few more things.1st The EFIS works all the time.2nd the MCP as said before will switch off. If I then use the mouse on the MCP in PMDG. the OC MCP comes alive again but only stays onuntil I have finished with what I am doing on the MCP.No IdeaThx Ian

Hi allHAve a small problem at the momentFlying from EGPH to EDDW loaded as usual and all is there except the MCP switches off after maybe 5 - 10 seconds. If I reload it is back and then away again after 5-10 secs etc etc etc.If I use the MCP it will stay on as long i use it but once I don't do anything anymore that's it. THe EFIS stays on not a probJust the MCP all lighs go off. Once I say reload script it is there.Hmmmm puzzledAny help?Thx IanSomething elseIf I hit ctrl-shift-w all weird numbers come up on the MCP and after the usual 5-10 goes off again . Hi GuysI have installed the compbined efios and mcp file and hooray it is working with a few errors.EFIS now is working but stops at times. Reloading the ssi in SIOC makes it run again.I just need to find what it is that stops the EFIS.It is a certain way on using the EFIS that stops it.Will test some more and feedback. HiPlease be so kind and put a name below your posat it is actually a rule of the forumAnyhow your question is something that I am working on to get solved. Is the EFIS one working in your set up? Without the MCP?If yes good. It isn't for me. So I have that problem first of all. The other is explained as such by John above on how to get both SSI files together. I treid ythis and it doesn't work for meBut the MCP part works.SoWHat to do is maybe you want to download my NGXMCPEFIS files above and giove that a try (as i said it doesnt work for me)Thx Ian

Hi JohnTHe NGXMCPEFIS file I made up but I think there is a mistake in it. As it doesn't work or let's say the EFIS part doesn't workSo I wanted to try yours once more.Anyhow my issue is actually still that even the EFIS file by itself without the MCP doesn't work which I find strangeAnd then I can understand that the combined one won't work either for the EFIS partMy combined one works but only for the MCP part. Which means the amalgamation of both must have been to a degree right.So if you could make yours available again for me to try I would be thankful or PM me with the fileThx IanEdit: At least I am learning something new here. GuysFirst of all I would like to thank Roar and John and especially Fred who has taken the time to talk to me on skype and help me with the installation.MCP is running1) Scenario: MCP on USB only and MCP file = MCP Works2) Scenario EFIS on USB only and EFIS file = EFIS doesn't Work3) Scenario MCP and EFIS on USB ( each on USB slot) and MCP File = MCP Running but using the DN / UP wheel for vertical speed will change on VC the EFIS for APP,VOR,MAP,PLN. Hi RoarI found somethingSo I have bot units in one SSI file ans as said the efis is not workingBUTI started the NGX the MCP is working and if I change the UP and DOWN wheel it changes the MAP, VOR, App, on the VC in the EFIS. Once the EFIS is sitting on APP nothing more happens in the EFIS even if i Scroll on with the wheelMaybe that helpsThx Ian

I have tried to use the EFIS just by itself and I can't get the EFIS to work. The MCP works fine. It's a treat.Best would be if all would work. That would make my dayThx Ian

Hi AllFred Still a bit of an error I configured my FMC with a flight and now noticed thatF/D on on the left no function same on right. Also A/R=T arm no function Disengage no functionAll dials work if i set V/S vert speed worksCMD a and b okCWS a ok but not bc/o don't knowVery strangeClicking the A/T on the FSX will show the LED on the MCP hardware. Clicking off will shut the LED downSo LED works (getting data from the FSX) but switch doesn't do anythingHave a quiet night might catch you tomorrow will be out all day but in in the evening.
