ChuckThat was good advice. Now it is running. I uninstalled and also cleared the registry then installed again as you said. But one more thing . I also when using the config tool used on the top left I think it is options and it added 2 dll files as it said successfully.So not it is workingThx Chuck RickOnce again thank you for your help and perseverance in this matter. So here we are 2 things one is i reins5talled the f tr programe and secondly i also used the options when i installed the new version the options in the config at the start up of the config So it has been a bit of a day c u l8t as i have geusts

Yeap exactly like that. II have even assigned some buttons of my Saitek x52 Pro and now it toggles from one point to the other but not as a camera actually like the NGX pics not moreHAT will not workThx Ianand yesit says Connected and active

RightSo I have done it all fresh exactly as said. I changed the switch in FSX so it doesn't pause anymore (learned something new again)I downloaded the files from AOA and saved them to the ezca system.andNope nothing worksd. Just the same as before. If i hit any camera it stays were it is. If i go to the Aircraft cameras it changes to one that is in the middle of the aircraft and stays there doesn't matter what i hit and when i go to world which is empty it goes somewhere in the world but nothing more happens.So what are the next stepsThx Ian

Well I'll try my bestFirst I installed version 1.15and then added 1.17. I run the config tool . I then start FSX and deleted all the assignments in the k/board and joystick department. So all by bookI then followed the instructions of Eric Kruegers VideoBut that is where it all starts going wrongin his video he shows that the ezdok is started and my FSX goes straight in 'flight sim is paused'. I found that strange. The next thing is that hitting any of the camera views in ezdok will not change anything in FSX. As i said if i open the studio fsx goes in to pause. When i assign anything to the joystick nothing will work no view and if there should be a change i think one button on my joystick changed a view it was showing nonsense. somewhere half in the plane and half out at the bottom. but that was the only other view i hadin 3 d nothing will happen Thx Ian

Ich habe recht gute Sachen in anderen Foren gesehen wie mann es installiert etc. Ich gehe genau so vor aber nichts.Ich habe in FSX die k/board Sachen entfernt und versucht es ans laufen zu bekommen. You are right Word Not Allowed there is no need for rebooting the machine at all except it changes Windows installation or requires in depth set up in registry In General all that NGX has said is right. Go slow install one after the other and use the tweaks. If you still have problems not getting over 20 come back and we shall see what else can be done. There is a ton of advice floating around here and some is really very good. More or less no quality loss but huge performance gain

Hi thereI have had a lot of problems with the x52 pro and NGX. The Special ones in the FMC i cannot get working with the X52 at all. I used LINDA and that gave me some solutions but again n ot all. But in so saying I think this is more of a @Ian doesn't understand that Sytem' error then anything else. but LINDA is noyt bad adviceHave a look at Linda and maybe you have more luck then I have. At the moment I have an even bigger problem which isI have to have most of my shortcuts via x52 deleted as they interfer with EZDOK and then I will have to re route all the joystick assignments at a later stage. But EZDOK is a challenge as well which I haven't mastered yet. Good luck with LINDA Ian

Thx Roar for answering. Things seem to get more complicated for me. I have now seen that the OC one is not really identical with the new PMDG one and GoFlight have one that looks more like it as it has the SPD INTV and ALT INTV. But now the question is if I go with that one can I use another EFIS as the one from GoFlight is not what i was looking for as well as the one from OC. I have to say the one from CPFlight looks the part but will they work togerther? Thx Ian

There is absolutely no need for more RAM. FSX can only read into 4 GB Ram. Not more. Check your page file . You need enough there and also no need to overclockWhat are your Frame Rates?In 2 D , in 3 D excluding and including HUD, on the deck , in flight etc. Thx Ian

Guys You are confusing me now. I have FSC v8.6 so what do we have to do there forget about 9 I don't have that.I have told FSC where FSX is. but it still cannot find the PMDG file it seems as it says it cannot save in PMDG.So back to square one.

EberhardHmm that is a prob. Yes and No.I had to configure the FSX path in FSC as it isn't on the same drive. That was not aproblem and it isn't moaning about that now. But then thinknt=g to change the path to drive:\FSC\pmdg\Flightplans it said that it cannot find the fsx path. So I changed it back to fsx and that is not a problem but it still will not save to PMDG Wayne I don't know EFB but I can say FSC is fantastic. Lots of add-ons. You can see VatSim traffic, have weather integrated, etc..I like it Thx Ian

Hi all When I swant to save a flightplan from FlightSim Commander version 8.6 it will save it into FSinn and FSX but will always come up with an error Error in Writing PMDG Plan Anyone any thoughts on that? Even better: a solution? Thx Ian

Hi Roar Maybe you can help me or give me some advice. I am thinking of buying some hardware from Opencockpits. I have read a few people not being happy with the products. On the other hand I have seen a lot of stuff written about the hardware not being plug and play and no one really knows on what software to use to get it going.Can you maybe give me some advide on the hardware if it is the right thing to buy for me. Guys and Gals A few questions on this.1) The AFCARS is not usable (one could say it is greyed out) Any idea if and how this can be used? 2) Now the big challengeIn the FMC k/strokes can be assigned for certain things like for example the spoilersThis can be done in far more detail than in the FSX but How can I assign those keystrokes then to my Saitek controller X52?If it would be in the Controls Standard XML file I would add it but it isn'tSo I really could do with some help here.
