Guys and Gals IMPORTANTHaving tested now quite a bit and having spoken to some gurus at work here a few hints that can help us further Start FSX and Task ManagerGo to processes and click on view then Select ColumnsAdd the followingUser Objects , GDI Objects, paged pool and NP Pool That should doNow fly like hell do everything to get an OOMNow the important partOnce you have an OOM DO NOT CLOSE ITLeave it and check the task manager and check the data there and write it down and send this data in a ticket to PMDG maybe that helps themto identify where the problem lies. I will leave more info on this as it becomes available.I have seen a lot of you writing ' this is unacceptable' This might beBut we need the data to carry this forward and help others the same as ouselves to get this sorted.The chances are high this could be a problem generated by the NGX and if so there is no need to shout at PMDGIn general they have done a fantastic Job.So thereNow let us ask them to help us with our problem in a nice fashion. No need to make remarks of $100 and it wasn't even a 100 if was only 69.99 Lets be professional about this and take this forward..Thx guys and gals

I actually think that this is being caused by a memory leak . PMDG should investigate

GuysI have never ever had an OOM on any of my machines. This one here is a i7 920 6 gig ram etc etc etcNever had OOM and now installed 737NGx and 3 guesses what I getOOMand I use 64 bit.So all this you should run 64 bit etc is not the solution as it also happens in 64 bit with enough page file and enough mem and machines that are fast enough to handel even tougher stuff than FSXAnd that is what I don't understandAll was fine never a prob and now there is a prob. The sliders in FSX have not been changed I always had high and extremely high settings28-34 FPSAnd now OOM and only 12-15 FPS

BobI have FSX installed on a separate HDD which 150GB. I also have a separate partition on a different HDD again to my C drive which hosts the page file.So it can'r be that either but I will certainly give the FSX.CFG file a try Thx Ian

Guys On a number of occasions now people here have been talking of me upgrading to Win 64 bit. I have said before I am running 64 bit and also in my foioter it shows Win 7 Ultimate 64 bit.So the 64 bit also has a problem with the OOM.I still think the problem is within NGX as I have never had the problem ever before and I am not new to Fight SImI started it when it was on Atari and still Microprose. So give me some credit here. And now let us start from fresh. Why is this happening and what is the solution Thx Ian

The problem isI have never ever had this problem. This is the first time with the 737NGX.Just did another test flight. again the tutoroal flight landed, taxied while taxing changed the view to exterior and bang red cross The PC is fast enough the is enough mem and page file enough ram for grafixWhat is the problem??? Right Just did another flightThe tutorial flight to EHAMComing up to EH608 had the approach on and then hot the second autopilot button and that was thatNot enough memoryI had changed all the virtual settings and lfted the mins up to 10000MB as recommended was 9213MB and thwe max to 18000MB And still the error

Maybe you can help me with 2 more things One isI cannot find in the FMC how to save a entered flight I know on the old 737 for FS9 but here I just cannot find it The other I am looking through the documentation and trying to find k/boaard shortcust like the ones you just gave me. Guys and Gals Maybe I am to stupid to fdind the info in the manuals or don't understand how it works When in VC and I use the HUD it is out of lineYou either want to move to the right with your seat or set the angle of the HUFD differently.The left side of the information I cannot see. Is ee the right up to the middle and rest is lost as I am ' Sittng wrongly' Any Suggestions The other point is I cannot find the Throttle quadrant. Only in VC but when I am in 2 d cockpit I don't find it under views to open it.Is that intentional? Hope to hear from anyone soon with a few good hints..Thx Ian

Hi George The second PC is not the problem. As said above (sorry with mistakes) . It was another 300 feet to go before EHAM touchdown and the Win red cross came 'Running out of memory'And as I said I have 6 gig and plenty left when checking the task manager Thx Ian

AArrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrggggghhhh I just had only the one PC running no other addons except the scenery ones. I was flying the tutorial flight Gatwick to Amsterdam. feet and the red cross cameI am running out of memory Yeah right Sniff Scream

I had once very blurry writing. I could hardly read the stuff wheni was openeing view etc. But when i stopped FSX and restarted it was all normal and hasn't come back . The rest of the graphics were fine

At the moment i only have installed some Just flight VFR UK scenery and on a 2nd PC Flight sim commander and using FSUIPC to connect bothI have VAtsim stuff installed but didnt run it today Hope that helps Opps sorry Edit I also have Aerosoft Mega Airports.Heathrow , Brussels, Heathrow and Frankfurt

HmmNice one I had 2 flights now when I landed and was almost at the gate the system came up with a red cross and said i am running out of memory.Checked the task manager and nope still enough memory left I have 6 GByte and i was using approx 4.1Gbyte. I have WIn 7 as 64 bit UltimateU need to know more hardware details? Thx Ian

Guys My problem is similiar. What happens through ther flight is taht the main window frezzes but all other undocked windows are still running and if i change the view i can even see movement and control the plane. But the main freezes and after maybe 5 - 10 minutes it comes back to life Strange
