  1. yes and you still don't understand to enter your name at the bottom of your text Read above IT IS A RULE!!!!
  2. Yes I have to say this is a bit un-nerving. Having said that there would be quite some prior warning given when the shop opnes or better the 737NGX is out for sale and nothing has happened yet but even not a ' Guys you will have to wait a bit longer' which would have been OK. I feel a bit left alone by the PMDG Team sorry to say
  3. I find it a bit weird that Vic and Ryan are posting stuff in other topics and not saying anything about the release. They know we are waiting for something. Why not let us know it might be delayed
  4. I just checked the shopping cart and I still can't afford her. The price is still $500.000.00 Just too much. I need to work a bit longer to afford that
  5. Jon I questioned that before and I personally believe this will run into a bit of a nightmare. But that is only a personal and not objective remark Greg If they say they will give us enough warning when the release is and today is the 4th I hardly believe that we will get a release today. There might be a nother problem they are sorting and I thank them for that that they will solve the problems first before we have a nightmare with patches and bug fixes. We have waited now how many years? What is a few more days or weeks.
  6. Hey AndreDon't over heat the PC yet. No announcement has been made yet. So start putting the fans on to keep it cool
  7. Hey AlanYeah just saw that. I think I will actually have one of my flights as Kulula Airways and have that 101 as livery. So kewl
  8. BTWIf you search on Google for Kulula you will find more photos of this plane and other planes with different liveries from the same company. Check it outIt is fun
  9. A bit of fun to keep us in good spirit The pics are actually from a flying aircraft. It is a South African airline At the bottom the text I am not really sure if that is true. Over the years I have seen this on other sites but at least it is funny and hopefully will humour you guys and also Robert on his Birthday. Hey by the way Robert: Maybe we can have that livery as a Birthday gift? lol Happy Birthday again Kulula is a low-cost South-African airline that doesn't take itself too seriously. Check out their new livery! And have a read about their Customer Relations. WHAT A PITY KULULA DOESN'T FLY INTERNATIONALLY - WE SHOULD SUPPORT THEM IF ONLY FOR THEIR HUMOUR - SO TYPICALLY SOUTH AFRICAN. Kulula is an Airline with head office situated in Johannesburg. Kulula airline attendants make an effort to make the in-flight "safety lecture" and announcements a bit more entertaining. Here are some real examples that have been heard or reported:On a Kulula flight, (there is no assigned seating, you just sit where you want) passengers were apparently having a hard time choosing, when a flight attendant announced,"People, people we're not picking out furniture here, find a seat and get in it!"---o0o---On another flight with a very "senior" flight attendant crew, the pilot said,"Ladies and gentlemen, we've reached cruising altitude and will be turning down the cabin lights. This is for your comfort and to enhance the appearance of your flight attendants."----o0o---On landing, the stewardess said,"Please be sure to take all of your belongings.. If you're going to leave anything, please make sure it's something we'd like to have."----o0o---"There may be 50 ways to leave your lover, but there are only 4 ways out of this airplane."---o0o---"Thank you for flying Kulula. We hope you enjoyed giving us the business as much as we enjoyed taking you for a ride."---o0o---As the plane landed and was coming to a stop at Durban Airport , a lone voice came over the loudspeaker:"Whoa, big fella. WHOA!"---o0o--After a particularly rough landing during thunderstorms in the Karoo, a flight attendant on a flight announced,"Please take care when opening the overhead compartments because, after a landing like that, sure as hell everything has shifted."---o0o---From a Kulula employee:"Welcome aboard Kulula 271 to Port Elizabeth. To operate your seat belt, insert the metal tab into the buckle, and pull tight. It works just like every other seat belt; and, if you don't know how to operate one, you probably shouldn't be out in public unsupervised."---o0o---"In the event of a sudden loss of cabin pressure, masks will descend from the ceiling. Stop screaming, grab the mask, and pull it over your face. If you have a small child travelling with you, secure your mask before assisting with theirs. If you are travelling with more than one small child, pick your favourite."---o0o---"Weather at our destination is 50 degrees with some broken clouds, but we'll try to have them fixed before we arrive. Thank you, and remember, nobody loves you, or your money, more than Kulula Airlines."----o0o---"Your seats cushions can be used for flotation; and in the event of an emergency water landing, please paddle to shore and take them with our compliments."---o0o---"As you exit the plane, make sure to gather all of your belongings. Anything left behind will be distributed evenly among the flight attendants. Please do not leave children or spouses.."---o0o---And from the pilot during his welcome message:"Kulula Airlines is pleased to announce that we have some of the best flight attendants in the industry. Unfortunately, none of them are on this flight!"---o0o—Heard on Kulula 255 just after a very hard landing in Cape Town : The flight attendant came on the intercom and said,"That was quite a bump and I know what y'all are thinking.. I'm here to tell you it wasn't the airline's fault, it wasn't the pilot's fault, it wasn't the flight attendant's fault, it was the asphalt."---o0o—Overheard on a Kulula flight into Cape Town, on a particularly windy and bumpy day: During the final approach, the Captain really had to fight it. After an extremely hard landing, the Flight Attendant said,"Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to The Mother City. Please remain in your seats with your seat belts fastened while the Captain taxis what's left of our airplane to the gate!"---o0o—Another flight attendant's comment on a less than perfect landing: "We ask you to please remain seated as Captain Kangaroo bounces us to the terminal."---o0o—An airline pilot wrote that on this particular flight he had hammered his ship into the runway really hard. The airline had a policy which required the first officer to stand at the door while the passengers exited, smile, and give them a "Thanks for flying our airline". He said that, in light of his bad landing, he had a hard time looking the passengers in the eye, thinking that someone would have a smart comment. Finally everyone had gotten off except for a little old lady walking with a cane. She said,"Sir, do you mind if I ask you a question?""Why, no Ma'am," said the pilot. "What is it?"The little old lady said,"Did we land, or were we shot down?"---o0o—After a real crusher of a landing in Johannesburg , the attendant came on with,"Ladies and Gentlemen, please remain in your seats until Captain Crash and the Crew have brought the aircraft to a screeching halt against the gate. And, once the tire smoke has cleared and the warning bells are silenced, we will open the door and you can pick your way through the wreckage to the terminal.."---o0o—Part of a flight attendant's arrival announcement:"We'd like to thank you folks for flying with us today.. And, the next time you get the insane urge to go blasting through the skies in a pressurized metal tube, we hope you'll think of Kulula Airways."---o0o—Heard on a Kulula flight:"Ladies and gentlemen, if you wish to smoke, the smoking section on this airplane is on the wing.. If you can light 'em, you can smoke 'em."---o0o---
  10. Happy Birthday RobertHope you have a quiet and relaxind day. And don't you think about the NGX today. We can wait until 00:01 the 5th of August. LOL
  11. Anyone know how to add photos to a post. Found some nice liveries.
  12. Hooraaaayyyyyyyy At last the release http://www.precision...3&idcategory=13But I think the price is a bit high
  13. I would say 2 hours are a surprise release but who am I to say

(Note: This will not be a surprise release... We will let you know it is coming!) As this is the 2nd of August and the release date might be the 04th of August and we don't have an update yet it is either short notice or delayed Thx Ian
  15. For the UK this is43.0144 GBP Good price Mid-market rates: 2011-08-02 11:08 UTC Thx Ian
  16. Guys I just hope with the hype about this machine and the amount of people who have said:' I will get this machine the day it comes out 'that the servers will be able to handle the amount of downloads and the speed. Would be a shame to sit there for hours having to download 540 megs of data. If you have a prob with the amount of servers needed talk to IBM and ask for virtual servers in the cloud. They are not expensive actually they are quite cheap and they are fantastic. Maybe just as good as the 737NGX from PMDG. Thx Ian I CAN'T WAIT !!!!!
  17. Hi PMDG Team and all friends of PMDGI have been sitting in the background and not been posting anything for a wee while.Fantastic news PMDG and thx for the update Robert and Ryan.I didn't post anything as there are too many nut cases always coming back with the same thing When when when...Guys just keep your good work up and release it when finished and bug free. As some have said there are other planes that can be flown (Obviously it would be nice to fly our dream machine)So keep on going guys and don't let the ones that don't have a clue annoy you . Kep away from them and do what you have to do to make this the best success ever in history of Flight Simming.Thx Ian
  18. BoxmanYou are absolutely right that I am not a moderator. and maybe this was a bit over the top in your eyes but I am saying it again as Ryan also said.Stop making assumptions on the price of the 737NGX.Now Boxman. What you doing about it?Thx Ian
  19. GuysStop those assumptions what the 737NGX will cost. PMDG in the their past posts mentioned that when the beta is more or less done they would give us a price. So just wait and don't assume prices. To assume makes an &@($* out of u and me.Thx Ian
  20. Hi DazzNo no it isn't me. Even have Candleland from Ian. Nice LP btw.Thx Ian
  21. OMG!!!!!First of all I would like to congratulate the PMDG team to getting so close to finishing of a product that in my assumption will revolutionise the FSX experience.I have followed over the last few years the NGX topics that were opened then closed new ones started all the hassle with people asking when will it be finished and people even throwing tantrums as just recently.I have been flying Flight Sim longer then some guys are members of any of the forums around on the net. I started flying Microprose Flight Sim on Atari 1024 and I have seen it all From MS FS all the way through to FSX.Now we have a company in the midst of us that has made the flight sim community a lot richer by giving us planes that are second to none.So guys please, please, please shut up, wait for the release, let the guys finish it and then start moaning if there actually is a reason to moan.Robert, Ryan, Dr Vaos, etc and all of PMDG. Thx for all your time you invested and hope to see you around for many more nice planes to come.IanP.S.RobertIf Dr Vaos doesn't like to be called Dr Vaos then you shouldn't call Dr Vaos Dr Vaos! It isn't nice to call Dr Vaos Dr Vaos if Dr Vaos doesnt' wan't to be called Dr Vaos
  22. My PC which is new will be outdated by the time the 737NGX arrives
  23. You have a very similar set up of amachine as I have and yes you shouldn't have a problem at all but in so saying I do have similar problems with FSX. There are days, as you, I want to throw everything out of the window. FSX can become very unstable if too many add-ons have been integrated even if they are all OK for FSX. There are a few sites you can have a look at to tweak your FSX. One more advice is to check for uiautomationcore.dll For some reason, the core problem lies with the uiautomationcore.dll library in Windows 7.Hope this helps.
  24. hi allWhat a fantastic plane. I just can't wait to get my fingers on it and fly it. That will be a fantastic day once it is installed. But a question I do haveHas anyone heard about Aerosft trying to build there own new FS and would the 737NGX work on the Aerosoft product. Anyone any ideas?Thx Ian
