Hi allAs Aerosoft is saying they are looking at building a FlightSim from scratch would any of the PMDG add ons work with that?Has Aerosoft spoken to PMDG about this as yet?Thx Ian

Hi allI am 50 and live on an Island in Scotland. I work as a PC specialist and Project Manager for a small computer company. Some call it the 'Big Blue'.I have started flying the flight sim when it was still MicroProse on the Atari and I have still got the software flying around somewhere. Since then I have been a constant flyer of the FS and I am now on FSX.Just waiting for the PMDG NGX 737 to arrive. I have been flying Gliders when I lived in Germany and will in May fly a 4 seater over the Firth of Clyde as I got this as a present for my 50th Birthday. The pro will do take-off and land, the in between bit will be mine.I am a member of VATSIM and the call sign is G-BUTE

HiThe only problem you might have out of own expeirence is that if the data is not 100% the same you might find that buildings are off.What I mean is you could be on an airport und a building might be too far on a taxiway or a sign is sittiing on the taxiway and not on the verge.I had this problem when using Aerosoft London Heathrow and British Airport from JustFlight. The data is not in line.So what you can do is then if this problem occurs to go into the scenery and get rid of one that isn't as good as the other.Hope that helps Ian

Hi allI think I am getting to old and don't know hot to get STARS into the PMDG 737 NG FMC.I get my flight plan in and routes but getting things right with the STARS is a probAt the departure page if I go to the departure the airport is there but how do I get an star in and also an approach.Do I need to download STARS? and if so where can I get them.I would be thankful for all suggestions. i want to master this but as I said at the top maybe I am getting to old.Thx AllIan

Hi allI have a problem especially at London Heathrow.I have FS9 installed as well as British Airports and VFR Photographic Scenery UK.Once I install the EGLL Mega Airport some buildings are to close to the taxiway as well as most of the taxy name boxes and runway boxes are actually on the taxiway itself. I also do get this at Frankfurt airport.Does anyone have an idea what is happening here. Which of the installed software should I get rid off. Or can this be solved in another way.Thx for any suggestions Ian

Hi AllNew to this forum but using FS since many years.The problem I have I can't get the ATC window open from FS when I use my PMDG 737 800/900 Software.I twas difficult enough to get into the FMC but I also want ATC to work with the PMDG.So any help is really appreciated if you know anything about this.Thx Ian :(
