Hope it's not the wrong Tuesday (as in next tuesday) I'm also guessing that price could be closer to 100 $ .Still worth it though as i would stll hand over the bucks, This is like when i was a kid waiting for Santa. How sad is that!Mike Ward

A question about reverse thrust
I worked on the ramp and was always picking up FOD. But i would have imagined that the runways would be free of this,I also live beside R28 @ EIDW and i see the cowling move back on landing and hear the reverse thrust on most flights, so could this be idle trust and what exactly is idle reverse (idle trust)?Michael Ward

HUD
Gee that's what i call quick anwnsers, Just looking at it i could see how it had something to do with where the aircraft would be at it's current speed and courseSo now i understand it, it's an Idiot's guide to landing an aircraft, or kind like cheating if you know what i meanPerfect for me though, Just point that circle at the touchdown zone and you're there. No but seriously this is something i can't wait to tryout, really excitedAm learning a lot from you guys :Applause:Thanks Michael Ward

HUD
Being a long time fan of all the PMDG Addon Aircraft, I am very excited at the upcoming release of the 737NGXand have been watching all the available Videos, photos & forums etc regarding this soon to become availableproduct. But i have a question that i don't think has been asked so far here and that is the new HUD system included with the aircraft.I think i pretty much understand most of the readings that are displayed ie. speed tapes, compass reading etc, but what's with that littlecircle with 2 little horizontal lines that boobs about inside the square. Check out PMDG's 737 NGX Preview - Day VFR 25knot Crosswind Short Field Landing Package at KCLMor PMDG 737 NGX Preview - Night VFR Departure and you will see what i meanlooking foward to your thoughts from you guysThanks

Taxing with FSX
Thanks to all you simmers for your comments.A couple of points i would like to make,I know it is much easier to taxi using an external view, but i try to keep it as real as possible and stay inside the 2D cockpit.I find it impossable to taxi at a constant speed no matter what aircraft you use, you'll either encrease speed or slow down so it's a constant trottle up and brake arrangement.I am sure that real aircraft do not have this problem.I use rudder pedels and using the toe brakes is very sensitive when turning so i don't use them except together to stop.I find it a lot less of a job when using the PDMG747 & MD11 to taxi and i find like the other comments that turns are best taken at 10kts or bleow and taxing straight at no more than 15kts.I think one of the problems with the software is that the turning ark is not very responsive as it always seems to take the same turning angle,(ie variation between wide and tight turning arks are hard to get).I know you can improve your taxing skills by practice and i am getting there.Once thanks to all for your imput.

Taxing with FSX
It may sound like a strange question, but i must tell you that i have always found this awnser to be maby YES!I have enjoyed this hobby for years and I know that there is an underlying major flaw in the Microsoft programming software that causes this, but even with all the addons like Rudder pedals, trottles,& Yoke,it's still a challange.I try to taxi out to the active runway in the cokpit view while keeping to the recommended speeds & trying to stick to the taxi centrelines, but with the major problems of SKATING,OVERSTEER/UNDERSTEER,OVERTROTTLE/UNDERTROTTLE,BRAKING/TROTTLING UP etc.it is a fulltime job getting everything right, never mind setting up all the other things one has to do while taxing out to the active runway.I really do wish that someday someone will come up with software to try to tackle this flaw.Mabie i am in the minoroty here but i had to get it out there.
