Hi all, I have requested 5 times a key from [email protected] times i got a mail back stating Radar Contact Version 4 Key - Failure and that my email address was wrong.But this is not the case. It is the same as what i used for the purchase. I also tried 3 different formats ccccccc ! firstname ! lastnameccccccc ! firstname ! lastnameccccccc!firstname!lastname Same result - Failure i tried also via webmail and ipad. Hi paul, Still no joy. Did exactly what you said. Set master volume ngx to 100 in fmc. Adjusted the different levels to 100.Slided the FSX sound sliders to the left.Result: no engine sounds at all. I have the realtek hd audio setup as stereo because i have no 5.1 setupWhat is also strange is that my external sounds like the fuel pump and hydraulic pumps are very loud.They are also there if i am on tower view and the aircraft is high in the sky. No engine sounds though, as it should be.It looks like the engine sounds are controlled by FSX and the pumps are controlled by the NGX software.You can hear the pumps in whatever view you are in. Maybe this is by design or not, i don't know but its not very realistic.Can sombody confirm this behaviour?ThxWilliam schoenmakers

Hi Paul,This does not work for me. As soon as i slide the fsx sounds to the left i lose all engine sounds.I only hear the hydraulic sound in external view.Maybe there is something wrong with my sound setup.

If you set your payload to empty the ZFW = BOW.You can find it in the FMC

It seems that sounds in external view option in the fmc does not work for me. (set it to NO)When flying i also hear the distinct sounds of the hydraulics in external view.The only way to fix this is to turn the external volume settings to zero in options.Then I can hear only the engines in external view but hydraulics sound is then also missing from the cockpit view.Strange. Any body a clue?

Yes i know that. But thats not the case here. Toggle sound on and off doesn't fix this.Packs sound stays in external view.It is not the FSX sound bug i think I know this is a minor issue but if it is NGX related i hope it gets fixed in SP1

I know about the sound bug in FSX but i think this is something else.when switching between cockpit and external view no sounds are there in the cockpit. Only external.The external sound is the PMDG_737_packs_ext.wav file

There are no cockpit sounds in the cockpit, so why are there in external view?The sound dies of after switching external power ON and OFF

Hello all,I have a problem with sound which is not solvable with pressing Q twice or going to a fsx menu.I believe it was introduced after HF4 but i am not sure.When i startup the NGX in cold and dark with everything off (also all pack switches) i can still hear the sound of the packs (checked this with the sound files) in external view.The cockpit is completely silent.Now when i switch the external power on and after that cut external power again the pack sounds die off and all is silent.Is there a way to fix this or wait for SP1?Thanks in advance William S.

Yes, i know now, the knob on itself is not a bug but a feature. But that the plane is showing the satcom and the fmc option says that it is not installed, that is a bug.( and yes , no livery change during flight)It is a small one, i know. But there it is. A giant zit on the back of this otherwise great KLM aircraft.I will ask KLM maintenance to squeeze and pop it like a bug. What a mess that will be.

Yes Yes very funny. By the way i didn't change livery and the option was not installed.I got better reception on my Nokia though.
