Featured Replies

Hi all, I noticed twice now a strange knob on top of my aircraft. See picture. If i reload a different aircraft it dissapears. It seems to be a bug because KLM has no radar on top :-)

It is not a bug. Also, you can select whether you want that "knob" in different places along that top of the airplane in the PMDG settings in the CDU.

Yup. You can switch it off in the PMDG -> Aircraft -> Equipment menu on the CDU.

go to CDU->menu->PMDG options->aircraft->equipment->Satcom antenna, and hide it if you dont want it. edit: too late

Ok, i found it. My next question is then how is it possible that it appears randomly. I started my flight with no satcom. Is there some keystroke which changes the satcom option?

William S.

That is aircraft specific options. Ie it is livery specific. You have have accidentally enabled it when flying the KLM NGX before, so it saved that option to that livery, but it is default disabled with the other liveries.

This happens when you select a different livery from the same aircraft variant. You will notice that no fan blades are displayed too.If you swith to another variant (800WL-900WL-800WL) and back again, the dome disappears and your fan blades returned.
