FPS. What FPS do you get?
I get roughly the same fps in ngx and 777. ~38 fps with hidden mouse cursor and 27 fps with visible mouse cursor In the ngx introduction manual it was recommended to run bojote's online tweaking tool, that section seams to be removed in the 777 introduction manual. My question is why they removed that section, has there been discovered any new drawbacks with that tweak tool?

computer ran out of available memory?
I have found out that alt tabbing, switching between fullscreen and windows mode and minimizing fsx too many times causes fsx to use more memory. and once it's above ~2,8gig there is no point of continuing the flight, cause it will continue to increase and will most likely crash on arrival or landing phase

Performance [FPS] First Officer Screens
Been flying around with both options quite much. I've not noticed any difference, the gain must be marginal. IRC it was recommeded in the manual to leave them both on, cause the performance gain was so small

Refuelling the new 777 and 747
Adding a refueling timer to the aircraft maybe adds couple of rows of code that the program has to run through. My programming skills are limited, but I have made a tetris game for PC and it was about 1500 rows of code. The NGX probably have hundreds of thousands of rows of code. The fuel timer may reduce performance, but it like one hundredth of a fps

Hugs after sp1c
Go to airport ENGM and bring down the combiner, see how the hud is perfectly lined upthen go to airport WMKK and start at runway 32, now the hud not alinged, like the picture i posted above.I'm guessing that you are expericing the head boobing effect, it hasn't got anything to do with the ngx it's hardcoded into FSX, maybe you just havn't noticed it before.

Hugs after sp1c
Is this what it looks like?

Hugs after sp1c
Maybe it's the drunken pilot effect, try switching to an airport far north and see if it helps

Nvidia GTX680 review at last!
Well, it's isn't really easy to measure fps in fsx, it depends on several factors, like mouse visible, weather etc. Maybe his friend was flying around in the default trike at 100fps, then when he upgraded his gfx card and got 115fps.but I doubt it make 10-15fps difference when flying in a sophisticated aircraft like the 737ngx since your fps will rather around 30s range, a 10-15fps gain would be huge then. It would be better to measure fps gain in percent.

2 fast questions
Many airports in the western world have rules about using the APU cause of the noise, it's common to start the APU a couple of minutes before engine start. Instead they use a GPU and an A/C unit (if it's hot outside) which is not as loud as the APU

You don't really need the air start unit. As far as I know the air start unit is mostly used when the APU is u/s. It would be uneconomical for the airline company to use an air start unit instead of the APU.

fs2crew website offline
I get this problem too, I have tried: changing computer, swtiching internet browser, deleting internet history, restarting router, turn off antivirus and firewall and bypassed the router. To access the fs2crew website I either have to use a proxy server or I have to use iPhone internet sharing(3g net). So I think it's some problem with my ISP.Tobias Sved

Some thoughts on Flight...
Graphics doesn't look bad at all, especially when it runs smooth 60fps with vsync enabled at highest graphics settings. I like theintuitive checklist and the ICON is a very nice aircraft, though it isn't very practical cause the lack of basic instruments. But Microsoft Flight doesn't have as near as muchfeatures as it's predecessor

Yeah... We aren't quite finished yet...
I'm pretty sure that's for the old 737NG

My FSX disc 2 is broken, I need to buy a new one, so which version shall I get?
I had the same problem, I lost my disc 2. didn't want to by a new game, so I downloaded the game from a torrent site. Anyway, FSX is very cheap nowdays. but I think that 15€ extra for the deluxe version is too much. I Checked prices at my local store, standard costs 12€ and deluxe 17€.

Head bobbing effect
There are two kinds of head bobbing effects fsx, first momentumeffect which simulates Moment of inertia and G-forces. But then there is an effect that i cant get rid of, to best illustrate this: choose the NGX or the default 747, go to RPMR airport, bring down the HUD combiner (this will make it more obvious). press "Y" to enter slew mode, start spinning in the YAW axis(not so fast). Watch how you head is moving in circles as you are turning. This also affects without slew mode when your doing turns and taxing. this is just the easiest way do show it. Head position are determined by your current heading. there are several factors that affect this head bobbing. Locations: I have found that if you are closer equator the more head bobbing you get, at ESSA, sweden thers is almost no head bobbing, while at RPMR, Philippines theres alot of head bobbing. Aircraft: head bobbing varies with differnt aircrafts. NGX has alot of head bobbing while the Cessna skyhawk has almost nothing. In my opinion, its very annoying to adjust my head postition to line up with the HUD after i have done a turn or while taxing. Has anyone noted this before, or is it just me?has anyone found a solution to stop this?Does this effect try to simulate some physical law that im not aware of?

Brakes effect of landing - aircraft tips forward unrealistic
Some people don't like to put their head through the combiner when braking hard
