I bought them upon release mainly as a token for my appreciation and support for Fenix. The A320 is my most flown aircraft in the sim and I will buy everything the team releases blindly, just because I enjoy the A320 so, so much. And I just love how the team interacts with their customers. Except for Dave, he is weird.:D

same here, pax also purple blocked textures. Might be related to some (custom) freeware FNX320 livs as I did not experience purple textures during my first flight with a livery downloaded through the FNX320 livery manager. Lovin' the update btw, great work!

970GTX is definitely the card to go for when on a 'budget', I really love mine. (MSI 970) But make sure to overclock your processor as FSX/P3D heavilly depend on raw CPU clock cycles.

I cannot comment on the Iris A-10 as I don't have it. I do fly the DCS Warthog actively and I can say that it easily compares to ex the VRS F/A-18E for FSX regarding systems depth. They both are study sims. Comparing apples with peers, the DCS Warthog vs FSX VRS F/A-18E I personally think the flight dynamics in DCS are a whole different level. For example, in DCS you can see and 'feel' the increase in generated lift when take-ing off and thundering down the runway. This amazes me every time. In general it seems the FSX flight dynamics are more like 'flying on rails' when compared to DCS. Off course DCS has missions and campaigns, simulating a battle field something that FSX doesn't have. (for the A-10 that is, off coarse there's TacPac for FSX now and the coming FSX@War) So I'd recommend downloading DCS World that comes with a free SU-25. See if you like it and wait a few weeks for a sale that is probably coming up with the Holidays in sight. Or better, buy it straight away cause the DCS dev's deserve it and the A-10 is awesome.

1. PFPX: Simply love it. Let me setup a professional and detailed flightplans in a couple of clicks, a matter of two minutes max! It includes SID's and STAR's so I can get airborne pretty fast. A must with so little time for actual simming. 2. Majestic Q400: Awesome! Ideal for short hops. 3. Fly Tampa Dubai: best FSX airport ever! (can't wait for eham-omdb in the PMDG T7...) 4. FTX Global: Awesome, love the way it changes the whole looks of FSX 5. Airbus Extended: very nice plane, nice to learn about the Airbus philosophy but I keep coming back to the PMDG Boeing NGX.

I think she is interested in you, not flight simming! on topic: I don't really care for the price. I know I will get so much enjoyment and hours, and hours of fun with it that it will be worth it every penny.

I'm using a Thurstmaster T-1600M with default sensitivity sliders but minimized null zones. Because this stick uses magnetic sensors there is zero noise on the axis. I have found this stick the best I've ever had and the best is it is really affordable too.

As much realism as possible but maybe not completely by the numbers/procedures due to the lack of time. Seems the PMDG T7 is THE airplane to get for this style of flying. Can't wait!

No activation issues here, activated around 12:30 CET so the load must be heavy but doable. Impressions after a quick circuit around LGAV: extremely FANTASTIC! Amazing FDE (the feeling), almost no negative impact on FPS (how did they do that?) and very, very nice visuals and sounds. It's a keeper for sure!

Fly Tampa Dubai is the best looking one for me. The immersion with the airport surroundings, a complete Dubai city makes flying in and out a stunning experience. Look at it this way: by the time you'll have time again, PMDG will have released a 787 and DC-3. :lol: But congratulations!!!

VC looks fine to me too. It's sharp, no blurries. It looks dull but that's just how a real one looks like. FBW feels good to me, I also have the same experience flicking the stick a little on approach, feels good to me, like I expect. Of course, never flown a real one. Liking this one so far!

I just upgraded to an 830 256Gb last week for both the OS (Win8) as FSX installation. My FSX install won't be very big so enough room for both. Lovin' the speed of an SSD so far, it's amazing how fast FSX starts.

Hi, I'm having god results running DX-10 on my rig. One thing that bothers me a little is the lack of V-sync in DX-10 preview mode. A definitive answer whether v-sync does or doesn't work in DX-10 didn't show up in a search on this forum. So my question si if anybody has it working? If so, how? My NI settings: - Vertical Sync Tear Control: Standard - Vertical Sync: 1/2 refresh rate - 8x Sparse Grid SS - Transparency Multi Sampling: Enabled fsx.cfg: - 30 frames locked in sim - //ForceFullScreenVSync=1 (tried enabling too) - MultiSamplesPerPixel=4 (just to be sure) - MultiSampleQuality=8 (just to be sure) - FIBER_FRAME_TIME_FRACTION=0.1 - TEXTURE_BANDWIDTH_MULT=40 Looking forward to your opinions.
