  1. Curious why the SSG E-Jets 170 Evolution is supported, but the 195 Isn't. Also the Toliss 319 and Rotate MD would be great adds.
  2. I run two monitors. If you want full screen you have to setup in Nvidia control panel. Set it to ''span displays with surround'' Otherwise only in windowed mode and stretch it over two monitors
  3. Not too long ago I purchased a new pc for prepar3d as I made the transition from FSX. I figured an I7 with two 970's in SLI would do the trick and I have not been disappointed - besides the occasional OOM. While I was at it, I decided to get 3 27" screens to complete the setup. Since that moment I became more and more interested in building my own pit. Not yet ready to commit completely - because of time - I started dragging the NDU and CDU to a separate screen. I immediately experienced a drop in VAS and realized dragging screens around hits hard on virtual memory. As part of my daily routine I browse the library in search for those little gems that make life in the virtual skies so much nicer. A livery, a brilliant scenery or sometimes a tool that makes life easier. While doing this I stumbled upon the file Mark uploaded to the library. The remote CDU for PMDG. It was an offer I couldn't refuse, free to check it out. If you want full functionality you pay a very small fee (GBP 3.29 I think I paid) For that amount you get a standalone CDU on your Ipad or Iphone (or android ) The installation is plain and simple and before you know it you're up and running. Not having full functionality I straight away saw the potential of having this gadget. It would mean one less screen and better VAS while setting up my PMDG pit... Needles to say: it worked! My VAS usage is down from not having to drag the CDU and undock it. The program self is easy to use, right click on the icon in the tray and generate a QR code for right or left CDU scan it and you're done. The manual is clear and easy to understand and Mark even gives you a tip how to add the link to your homescreen. I have flown two flights today and I had no faults, no lag and everything functioned like it should. Needless to say I am a happy customer and will purchase the T7 version soon as well. For me this is a '' must have''
  4. Funny how we shifted from being obsessed with frame rates to VAS count.... What will be next?
  5. I just upgraded to WIN10. Yesterday I flew BHX-SPC (UK2000 and Aerosoft) and got an OOM on final. Today I did the same flight over after upgrading. No fresh install of Win nor Prepar3d and I got a new sound while entering the STAR. It was the sound of OOM. I saved my approach and continued and the sound stopped. I actually finished the flight..... I have no tweaks in my cfg anymore and not limited my frames and it somehow worked this time.... I still need to fine tune it but it looks like WIN does manage memory more efficient, or is it psychological???
  6. I think to just say Aerosoft is a huge VAS killer is not entirely correct. Aerosoft has a diversity of scenery developers working for them, each with their own style that generalizing it like that would be too easy.
  7. You can use the 736 for 734 routes: All LGW to NAP, IBZ, FCO, VCE, DBV, GLA, BCN, SVQ, FAO, EDI, JER, BOD, ALC, PFO, oh and congratulations of course
  8. Although I don't have the problems, an option for you might be to save your settings and import them every time.. I do that because I use CH yoke and thrustmaster and switch when I fly Airbus or Boeing....
  9. http://youtu.be/nw0gjw1XIIk Get that adrenaline running! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  10. You can prevent that by flying lower, or pack different fuel. You can do this by changing your fuel type via the fmc.
  11. He actually looks younger then I imagined him... :)
  12. Selling the base code to LM must have been good for the numbers, on top of all the copies sold. I don't think most devs come even close......Probably not even combined.
  13. It in fact is true, it's a Privatair BBJ chartered by KLM. KLM discontinued it now and is going to operate it's own planes on the route now
  14. The first version did suffer from low framerates, the updated version works fine on mine system and I have an I5 2500K like you. In fact your videocard trumps mine, so you should be alright with the latest version.
  15. Ah, I somehow missed that one.... thnx :)
  16. Funny, the Avsim site already announced it's release... Premature? Or do they know something we don't? http://www.avsim.com/
  17. Well the Netherlands might produce some small parts, the government doesn't have a say in what the companies order for their fleet. If you look at KLM, which is part of Air France-KLM, you'll see the mainstay of the KLM fleet is Boeing. (KLM has a long history with Boeing) The only Airbusses in KLM livery are the a330-200 (11) and an order for 4 a330-300. Daughter Transavia is all Boeing. Arkefly, boeing, in fact the only Dutch airline with an all airbus fleet is Amsterdam Airlines (3 a320's) This has nothing to do with the boeing vs airbus debate, or which is better, just to correct your statement about the Netherlands' involvement.
  18. It's not only you.. Don't worry happened before, they'll reset it and it'll be b'ness like usual. Till thenforums are down :)
  19. So do I...
  20. offline I like RC04 most, but nothing beats the online experience on VATSIM (my choice) or IVAO.
  21. Let's wait before jumping to conclusions about release dates, lets talk about updates (how minor they may be ) http://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php/topic/49292-airbus-x-v2-preview/page__pid__332154#entry332154
  22. You're very welcome Matheus, see you in the Vskies
