I think no wave along the sea shore is acceptable in this stage.I believe my gtx 480 not only supports dx10 well, but also dx11, even its oc performance is higher than default gtx 580.All settings are highest or maximum. But I am quite sure I can hardly see the water animation, as todev said.Can you see the animated waves or reflection at 700feet? If it is hard to see, I think that is far away from realistic scene.

Nvidia gtx 480. I think the real surface should have the dynamic reflection at least. Even I look at the surface at 500ft to 1000ft, I still feel the water is static. That's not real for me if you can imagine what you see when you were in a final approach to an airport near sea shore.

Close looking at the surface is fine,quite realistic. But when u reach some altitude, do you think the water seems static, no waves, just like a mirror with reflection. The water effect is set to maximum. I don't know it is my gpu rendering problem or Flight inherent one. How about yours? Do you feel realistic surface at some level?

I tried, but failed to solve the job start problem. We have no idea why we has these problems, but the others have none. Does some other software conflict with Flight?I also saw the thread in microsoft offical forums, but till now there is no solution for us. I believe quite number of players have the same problem.Can anyone help?

Thanks for report this. Therefore, I guess different vc2008/vc2010 library redistributions are installed for different individuals. @n4gix, can u list your vc2010 redist version? You can check this in win7 control panel -> uninstall application. So I can reinstall the version you have. Thanks in advance. :), I guess we have latest version of VC 2010 redist that might cause the problem. Maybe need to reinstall the version included in the installation pack. I will try when I get back home.

1) Even the "$100 burger", I can't start. When I enter into "select job", chose the ICON A5, and press the "start mission" button, the 3D-model plane disappears and nothing is started. It is very strange and no error info is displayed. I only have two default free ones, without paid DLC. Do anyone meet the same problem? I think the basic "$100 burger" shouldn't requir the other DLC.2) I also has a problem when my mouse curse is placed on some instruments inside the cockpit. For example, in AoA indicator (the meter between speed indicator and altiude indicator) in ICON A5, if I place the cursor on it, it displays some internal scripts in the hint box, while other meters are normal to display the indications.Thanks.

Hi, All,As corinaco said, if you unpack .pak files, you could find all the similar things and structure with what we have in FSX.So we believe that MS Flight has a lot of extentions in future. What I worried is the cost of each DLC, appreatly, current price is too high.And another worry is MS Studio can let third-party developer publish DLC, e.g. PMDG? Proof for the content.
