I just posted a help question about attempting to lock views. Does this FSUIPIC obtain this? I have an X52 that I have programed to the hilt. I just find my panel views lose their positions if I change (well anything) it seems.THANKS FOR ANY and all help.Jet

I am new to AVSIM so I am sorry if this has been discussed somewhere else. I have tried to search views, view lock, on and on. With no luck.SO, here is my question. I set up a flight with all my views where I want them. I also fly with a Saitek X52 so I have many of the panel views set up on my t-switches. I am not understanding why I save the flight with all my views in place, and then, I come back some time later and a few panels are not where I saved them. For me it is a drag on the realism thing, when I get in and there on my dashboard glareshield sits my throttle quad, my IRS panel (Wilco PIC 737) is on the window.. :( How can I get these and all panels I workwith to stay put? :( Is there some sort of add on software for this too? I am new to add-ons and nhancers etc. Thanks again for reading and helping.Jet

Does this add 2d views in the cockpit? Now, I am using Wilco PIC 737 their 2d view with wing view. It is really nice because even in FS9 it takes a few seconds to draw the 3d vc and it is annoying. So is there a way to have a VC that is 2d? (or at least sort of)? New here so maybe my question is not quite appropriate.

AS LONG AS we are talking about ATC.I too have been wanting what the good captain had just requested. I ALSO would like to find a good flight planning program that will allow me to flight plan to given airports, (I am using the FMS (FMC) with Wilco 737) so I would like it to be friendly to SIDS STARS Non Prec Approaches etc. If I simply flight plan with the default FS planner I get vectored off the DP or Arrival. At the moment I simply find VORs near my route and plug them into the MSFS Flight planner. This gets very time consuming for trying to plan a flight.I too am a Licensed Pilot, so I am looking for a couple of good programs, flight plannning and better ATC. I am really enjoying the Wilco 737 product.Any pointers and suggestions would be great! Thanks!

I am probably the L A S T person here to comment on this. So I will. My machine was found by Alvin along with all the other Titanic artifacts, so getting Frames is a real task. I have an old HP Pavillion (04) vintage. Processor: Intel® Pentium® 4 CPU 3.00GHz (2 CPUs) 1536MB RAM (Nvidia GeForce 9400 GT).So for me I am all about locking in the FPS at 30. On my particular set up, Fred and Barney are peddling Freds Flying machine pretty well and I rarely dip below 20 FPS. My rig doesn't run FSX too well. That will be another day when I get a faster system. However with all the popular tweaks I have got it running smooth with Autogen set to low (With it set to max, I find my airports in my area don't even look real. Way to much forest. So of course I set the tree generator to like 5 or something.What works for me then is locking the Frames and working more with tweaks and sliders. I am very very new to all of this but I have found in a few short days that this probably best for most. One thing is for sure. There is no (one fix, fix).Anyone have a good laymans link on the Nvidia GeForce line on ways to set it up for FS9? That still is confusing me. Thanks Much!Jet.
