  1. Sorry about the 'windowed' mode... The original resolution is 5040 x 1050 (1680 x 1050 on three monitors). Tinypic only allowed around 30% of that resolution so the detail doesn't quite come through. I should build my own server I think...Spitfire Interior 1:http://i51.tinypic.com/63ykop.pngSpitfire Interior 2:http://i51.tinypic.com/2s7dmah.pngSpitfire Takeoff:http://i51.tinypic.com/2wny45k.jpgSpitfire Exterior 1:http://i53.tinypic.com/2rmnq77.pngSpitfire Exterior 2:http://i53.tinypic.com/1055ruu.pngSpitfire Ground:http://i53.tinypic.com/2e0uv06.pngB17 Close:http://i55.tinypic.com/sdmmbo.pngB17 Distance:http://i56.tinypic.com/2e0uyie.pngB17 Landing 1:http://i56.tinypic.com/90r8ur.pngB17 Landing 2:http://i56.tinypic.com/331qaf5.png
  2. I found the best solution for me was an Eyefinity setup. Since you have all three monitors running at the same resolution this would work perfect for you.Just stretch the window across all three screens, and once in virtual cockpit, "zoom out" until it looks good to you. This link has an excellent and simple program for using a custom FOV as well: http://www.tocaedit.com/IB/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=59
  3. Yup, got mine to 4.4 Ghz at 55 degrees max temp... which is crazy to me.
  4. Yeah... It would be nice to see some low flying in a city to get an idea of how much detail MS Flight is going for on the ground.
  5. Because I'd be paying $100 on something I'd never use.
  6. Windows 7 is so adaptable to new hardware I know of some people that have gone through 3 completely different sets of Motherboards & CPU's without a reformat...
  7. Precisely... this guy who has multiple CPU's in hand seems to have been pushing them pretty hard testing them. He mentions that he actually feels 1.5V is a safe value 24/7 from his experience....http://www.overclock.net/intel-cpus/908782-sneak-peak-my-sandy-bridge-overclocking.html
  8. Sooo... did ya get some numbers for us impatient folks?
  9. You can be sure that they hand picked the CPU to show... you'd have to be beyond optimistic to expect all chips to OC to 4.9ghz. Having said that, clock for clock Sandy bridge is a lot faster than current chips. I'm waiting to upgrade my E8400 until these come out :)
