  1. That's what I would call a workaround... the loooong way around too... :)
  2. I only want the SDK released so my hardware vendors can make drivers for the hardware I bought. And if there are drivers for PMDG's NGX what do I need Project Magenta, ProSim737 and others for?Until then I am forced to fly the NGX without my Throttle Quadrant, MCP + EFIS and my CDU... or fly som other model with them, but why fly anything less than PMDG? ;)
  3. It's just short for Software Development Kit... how can anyone claim to own that? And if he has the copyright for that hundreds of SDKs are ind trouble... )Anyways, my thread was not to pressure PMDG. I know good things are in the making, waiting for the NGX was a pain, but it was worth the wait. But that doesn't make the wait any more fun - so information to your customers is important. I only got news of why we wait for the SDK when I asked here... so again, no pressure to release, but pressure to inform...So... anyone pressuring mr. Tisma to get off our backs? :)(if indeed he is to blame)
  4. Cool, at least we can get the SDK when it comes out... :)
  5. Ya, we are nerds... and proud of it! ;)
  6. It says so somewhere in the manuals...
  7. I don't want magic, I just want my hardware vendor to get a chance to make drivers so my hardware can work seamlessly with your 737 NGX - which by the way doesn't work by magic either... Good code I would imagine is at the heart of that product... :() I have been coding for 20 years and it's what I do for a living. I wouldn't mind getting my hands on a beta version, but I read somewhere that you are only letting vendors have the SDK?And I agree with David that your source code would need protecting, but access to the inner workings of the sim? The more access you give the better products will be made for your near perfect 737 NGX :()I am building a home cockpit and am hoping that all I need is the hardware and your simulation - fingers crossed... That would be perfect.I have tested all the others - PM, ProSim737, Sim Avionics and more... Good products, but you simulate all they do - and more I think... So when asking for release dates it's not to rush you, I just have very expensive hardware here waiting to be used...
  8. Okay... ehrm... how very american... ;o)Are the hardware vendors on board on this? I mean do they get beta versions of the SDK?
  9. When will the SDK be released?I have just gotten my Revolution Motorized TQ, Engravity CDU and CP Flights MCP & EFIS... Would be REALLY nice to have this hardware work with my 737 NGX
  10. Get the same problem... and turn it on when the operations manual tells me to... Try to use the manuals to get the procedures right, but I guess that it's one of those things called 'a funny'...
  11. A looooong wait is soon to be ended - and at a price that is close to free... the manuals cost a lot more, so buying the full range of 737NG will be a pleasure... ;o)
  12. I'm in the process of starting my home cockpit project up, well I've been reading and reading for 2 years now. And been waiting for this 737 for 1½ years or so... With the quality of this product, waould I need any other simulations software? You know the ones that simulate all the backend systems? Like Project Magenta or Pro737 and the likes...I haven't bought any other software yet, but am almost ready to order FMC, MCP and EFIS Pro from FlyEngravity and the motorized throttle Quadrant from Revolution Simproducts... I know many other builders buy Project Magenta - but they have a large pricetag on that...
  13. When? When? When?Been waiting since october 2009 - had a better time waiting for christmas as a kid - this is painful :)
