Woups! Never thought of livery aspect as a source to VAS escalation...! How can one tell before choosing a livery? Personally I use Emirates and British Airways.- Well impressed with the 777 after VAS Test, SS of settings
Arhh okay, sorry didn't notice your P3D, which obviously seems to have a little bit advantage regarding to the VAS aspect. Yesterday I tried Geneve - Heathrow with FSX and as usual I ran into the "ding, ding" OOM warning - however not so intense as it use to be...so I actually managed to land and taxi to gate this time, which of course shows some improvement! My plan is to go with P3D some day - but definitely not before they upgrade to a 64 bit version.- Well impressed with the 777 after VAS Test, SS of settings
No me neither! Same approach to everything, same scenery and so on....hmmmm.. On top of this, I'm even using SCE for excluding scenery not in use. What are your AI settings inside FSX?- Well impressed with the 777 after VAS Test, SS of settings
David, are your EGLL and EIDW addon airports, if so, from which developer? Do you use ORBX Global/Vector?- Well impressed with the 777 after VAS Test, SS of settings
Anyone yet DARED approach into Aeorosoft's Heathrow (LOD 3.5 - 4.5 let's be reasonable..:-)..????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!- Update confusion

I'm having the FSX version of PMDG 777-200LR installed When executing the new update I have 2 options: Repair (same as install the update on top of the current version??) Remove As it is I already chose Repair, but not 100% sure I did the right thing, even though the OP center now says that I'm having the latest version 1.10.6492 installed. The "Repair" process went extremely fast which makes me kind of uncertain if everything really gonna work as it should? It would have been nice with a few words in the readme file about which option to chose in order to simply just make an update.- Well impressed with the 777 after VAS Test, SS of settings
WOW, can't appreciate this improvement enough. Wonderful! Thanks PMDG, Beta-testers and everyone here in this forum for identifying this serious VAS leak!- PMDG 777 Product update question
No! Most definitely not, in that way you'll loose all saved settings, etc. Download the installer and do a "repair" install.- PMDG 777 Product update question
Best to keep on being updated, in proper shape for next update! SP1d works brilliant on my FSX and didn't screw up my settings - didn't even had to update liveries.- PMDG 777 Product update question
You're damn right! Norton has suddenly started to see dangers everywhere - I've had it with them!..gotta find a new concept!!! PMDG not to blame here.- PMDG 777 Product update question
Wish it was that simple! OC won't update here - having timeouts all the time when OC is attempting to download the update. No good!- PMDG OC fails to update
Okay, despite several error messages in attempt to update the OC I somehow seem to have succeeded anyway. At least the prompt for OC update has gone by now (?) Now for the T7 update.. Nope! I was wrong. Although succeeding in updating the T7 itself, I'm not able to update the Operation Center. Downloading files getting stuck during Product Module 737NGX P3D.dll. Error message: "Product Module 737NGX P3D.dll has failed to download afetr 3 attempts. Please try again later"...which I did 10 times! Would there perhaps be a way to alternatively download the updated OC as zip file..?!- PMDG 777 Product update question
Hmmm..all this is indeed important and essential information. Seems that PMDG needs to improve their information level towards their customers! Phillip- PMDG OC fails to update
I'm trying to update both the OC and the 777-200 itself, but downloading will stuck every time I try. Any idea? Phillip- PMDG OC fails to update
I'm trying to update both the OC and the 777-200 itself, but downloading will stuck every time I try. Any idea? Phillip- I'll pay you to make me an overhead window!
Thanks Bryn for clearing that out about the reverse issue. I have also been in contact with PMDG myself who told me that it is up to the customers if they want to make a 2D panel them self through SDK. Interesting! Although I seem to be addicted to PMDG 777 these days...not particular keen on 747. Is the PSX based on a 64 bit system? Clear of all the VAS/OOM bull****..?! Oh, and sorry about my spontaneous comment, indicating that PMDG don't care about their customers. Of course they do!..just so frustrated about this missing 2D facility!! :(- I'll pay you to make me an overhead window!
Absolutely! Here's a diagram of this setup of mine - no big deal (monitors no.9 and 10 are connected to my other PC in network) The 'cranes' and stuff back stage - I'll pay you to make me an overhead window!
I need a separate 2D overhead window for my T7 setup and will pay anyone with the right skills to do the job for me. If you have an offer then please contact me via PM, ONLY. Offers directly into this forum will not be answered. Phillip. This is a picture of my setup, just with another aircraft from another company who cares about their customers needs.- T7 SDK.... when?
Whenever there is will and demand conditions for "facts" can be changed, mate, otherwise we would still be stuck into the stone age! About money, I obviously can't estimate any amount for something I don't now how long it would take to make. Besides I would never negotiate costs in a public forum. Any suggestions however are most welcome through a PM to me.- T7 SDK.... when?
Why this negative attitude toward this?! Some people around here obviously NEED this feature and for a pretty good reason reason you know - If we are talking about money - even big money - lets have a suggestion instead of this loose talk leading to nothing.- T7 SDK.... when?
Dear kyle I really do appreciate it :-) now, then next step..who can and will create an overhead panel?!- T7 SDK.... when?
Okay! Well then, who has the skills then to create an overhead panel popup when PMDG don't seems to care..?! - 777 with 01JAN16 Update - great job!
