Using the Microsoft App Store is bringing back flashbacks of the days of using EA's Origin store to purchase games. Haven't used it in years, but it was just about as buggy as this is. I really miss the olden days when you could purchase physical copies of games. Finally got things to work after jumping through a few hurdles though!

It is a lot of fun to fly. It doesn't feel like an Airbus aircraft as strange as that sounds. Also noting that the A306 has a ton of power much like the B762. My first flight was relatively empty and I was climbing out at 5000-6000fpm initially.

I spent years flying the Thomas Ruth A300 to simulate Fedex and UPS cargo. While a great aircraft in its own right, it's nice not to have to rely on default FSX gps anymore! Now my Fedex fleet is (almost) complete. Just need a MD11 and I'll be good to go!

Hello,
Is it possible to move multiple sceneries into a group at one time? For example when creating a custom group I have to manually select all the 0701, 0702, 0703 etc. base sceneries to move into each group. Since there is no easy way to tell which airports those numbered folders contain, I have to add them all. It would be easier if I could multi select them like you can on the main scenery page.

Unfortunately the Vram problem will remain an issue until Truelight and/or Trueglass is updated to resolve this issue. Last I saw on the TFDI forum was they were aware of the problem and are working with LM to resolve it. That was about a month ago now. As for usage, I am at 5.1GB minimum most of the time. If you fly into dense areas you could get close to 7GB. 7.1 is the limit on my card and I usually have to scale things back drastically if I fly in an urban area. Performance remains good, but VRAM is a separate matter.

I agree, and a 1070 is still a high end card. Outside of the 2080 series, there are still new cards being released with 8GB VRAM. 3 more GB and you are looking at over a grand for a card that will be relevant for who knows how long. That is what is making me hesitant about upgrading in the first place. At least right now with the way prices are.

The only way I have found to solve it currently, is by going into ADE, opening the stock airport and removing all the buildings within it, compiling it as a BGL and returning it to either the scenery > world folder, or to a new folder within the sim. Make sure the folder is below all your sceneries.
Would be great if LM could fix this issue though as it is a huge pain!

I tried out RTSS with the same settings. It works great for locking down the FPS, but if I turn vsync off in the sim I get screen tearing.

Hello,
I am using a GTX 1070 currently and am wondering if an 8GB card will be sufficient in the near future with P3D. P3dv5 has made things more balanced between the cpu and gpu, but with my vram approaching 8GB of usage in some situations, it makes me wonder how much longer my 1070 will do the job. The price difference between an 8GB card and an 11gb is huge, even with the latest generation of GPUS.

Hi,
I have followed the steps listed here and still am unable to get the panel to show up. I am using version 1.6 and the entries do show up in my panel.cfg (both default and livery specific panel cfg), but not the addon.cfg (if that matters). I'll attach my cfg here. Also fs2crew keeps asking me to relink my panel cfg ever time I open the configurator. Thanks.

The only thing I don't like is they made the cabin only accessible in the external view. Now you cant use the wing views because your ears get blasted with exterior engine sounds.

I have had some display flashing issues with a number of different programs with P3Dv5. It seems to be random, sometimes starts right away, and other times all may be well for quite a while, and then the flashing starts. In my case the flashing is very fast, almost like a fast vibration, and so fast it makes the display hard to read at times. I think this is a P3Dv5HF2 bug of some kind because it doesn't happen in P3Dv4.5HF3.
I assume you are using the turbojet autothrottle script. Since you have the Lear35, see if you get the same flashing with the Lear.
Also, do you have a different version of P3D installed to try?

Yeah what your are describing is exactly what is happening. I'll try out the Lear and see what happens. I don't have p3dv4 installed currently, but I am sure this is probably related to v5 somehow.

Did you try resizing and dragging the green bar to a new location as mentioned in the setup instructions?

What sim are you using?

I am on p3dv5, the whole bar itself starts flashing, its hard to tell how many times per second but it is very frequent. I tried dragging it to the top of the screen, but the flashing continues. No other programs using the green bar. This appeared specifically in the Falcon 50.

No it is just the screen that shows the autothrottle is enabled. I thought it was a warning at first, but the script is working correctly. The only thing that is displayed above it is the p3d taskbar.

One more thing, it appears the autothrottle red text display at the top keeps flashing at the top of the screen. Is there a way to hide the green text bar? If I right click and try to close the window it wont close.

I Just like the sounds of the Lear, but I don't want to mess up the sounds of course. I guess my main reason is the sounds in the Falcon are really quiet. I don't really hear any avionics noise and the engines are extremely quiet at idle. The Learjet kind of has that "droning" sound from the engines that you don't hear in the Falcon.

Since the Learjet uses the same engines as the Falcon is it possible to use the Learjet soundset for the Falcon 50? Some of the switches probably sound different, but the Falcon uses the same TFE731 engine as the Learjet 35, correct?

Anyone having issues with ATC not having sound? All I am getting is text in the ATC window. No ATIS either. All sound sliders are on max by the way.
