  1. Desktop Aviator is pretty good. I've been buying from them for years. The quality is good and so are the prices. Support is always there when I need them. And it seems like they are always coming out with all kinds of panels.
  2. That's true, I've been having problems with Saitek myself. No support at all. They won't even sell a replacement knob. They make some nice looking panels, but without the needed support when there is a problem, they're useless
  3. Try this link from Desktop Aviator https://www.desktopaviator.com/Products/Throttle_Knobs/index.htm
  4. I've been reading this topic with great interest. But I have a question. The software package; Reality XP will take the screen portion and place it into the DTA's GPS monitor. Reality XP simulates a Garmin 530. Is there a software package similar to Reality XY that recreates the screen found on a Garmin 500 series GPS; like you would find on the MS2004 and FSX? Thanks in advance
  5. Here is another AVSim post that might be of some help with your installation of DTA's GPS http://forum.avsim.net/topic/387387-oki-got-my-first-phase-of-my-cockpit-done/
  6. DTA's Model 2090 board works just as well as Leo's. It's a better buy if you don't like to wait for shipments from the UK. http://www.desktopaviator.com/Products/Model_2090/index.htm
  7. There might be room on the GPS for another Dual Encoder Switch, but it won't do you any good; the Circuit Board supports only the 1 dual encoder switch
  8. DTA now has a GPS with a 620x480 resolution monitor. http://www.desktopav..._2450/index.htm Reality XP is a good choice for undocking the GPS graphic from the computer's screen and transposing it onto the 2450's monitor. Additional info on the 2450 can be seen here: http://forum.avsim.n...y-cockpit-done/
  9. I have one of these too! It's really a "cool" add-on to my flight simulator. http://www.desktopaviator.com/Products/Model_2390/index.htm
  10. I see that Desktop Aviator now has a trim wheel with 12-bit resolution.I makes sense to have a TW with a higher resolution then Saitek forall those small correction.http://www.desktopaviator.com/Products/Model_2030/index.htm
  11. As far as I know, Bodner does not sell a light control board for overhead consoles. Please get your facts straight.
  12. Try this link to intermix rotary switches and spring return push buttons with Desktop Aviator's 2090 Board.http://desktopaviator2.tripod.com/Instructions/Model_2090/index.htm If you live in the U.S., try Desktop Aviator's 2090 and 2095A Rotary encoder boards. They use the BU8036 chips from Leo B. Probably it would cheaper for you and DTAanswers emails.http://desktopaviator2.tripod.com/Instructions/Model_2090/index.htm Try:http://www.desktopaviator.com/Products/Model_2250/index.htmfor an inexpensive Light controller board. I bought one to makean overhead panel with lighted push buttons. It came outpretty good.
