I can't get that to work. I have managed to get an acceptable hill with a LWM file however after 3 days!

Hi anothony31, Nothing is showing so I'm obviously doing the wrong thing. I've made a rectangular LMW land mask with 4 points at 0 & one at 45. The resulting .bgl doesn't show. I was hoping to make & group others together to form a hill. I've had a look at the instructions which I don't understand so I'm back for advice if you read this!

I've made a WW2 airfield that has a 100ft or so hill near it with the Battle HQ on top. The trouble is flight sim has a flat area there. Can, & how do, I make a hill there? I have the vertex at 21 but the area is still flat. Thanks.

Thanks for all the info. I'll probably just make a EGLC at some stage. I make my own WW2 airfields, by the way, with sbuilder & Ade9. I'm grateful to you. Terry.

It would have been saved on my desktop but I cancelled it. I entered EGLC & Afcad came up with AF2_EGLC. If I make my own I'll use ADE9 though. I'm more interested in locating the offending file though......

I've just checked using ADE9 & see AP948130.BGL. I landed there but it's missing but still appears in my airport select list. I'm hoping to check the problem. I can always make my own but would like to solve the problem of a vanishing airfield..... I did use Afcad2.2.1.

Right...but I want to check London City airport EGLC. Afcad shows it as AF2_EGLC. I've searched FS9 for EGLC but I get 'No items match your search' so what do I look for? I assume London will be in Eurw ?

Will someone will tell me where default airfield files are kept in FS9, please ? Thanks.

I'm trying to register a msstdfmt.dll in my Window 7 System32 folder with 'Run & regsvr32.exe msstdfmt.dll' but I get a message telling me to check if it's compatible with x86(32 bit) or x64 bit version of regsvr32.exe. How do I do this? I need the msstdfmt.dll to run Excbuilder2.

John.....I've fixed the problem by using Flight1 registry repair tool......Stevo at Airfield Constructors Group suggested it. It loaded in a flash once I'd use the tool.

I've run Sbuilder & get a message telling me FS9 doesn't exist on my computer. It does thus C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\FSGW3\fs9 How do I get sbuilder to recognise it? I have Windows 7 & FS2004 as GoldenWings3 & it runs very smoothly.

I've installed this download & see a lot of the textures don't show up......2 chimney's are blank & the pot on another is white.Wood decking, etc is the same. I've installed the 'missing textures' download too. Is anyone else having the same trouble?Thanks.

You Sir, have hit the nail on the head. I find I have 2 start locations on one runway & the one with the weird coordinates is the one FS9 followed. I thank you!! I'm using Afcad2.21 & have ADE9X but haven't used it yet........Cheers,Terry.

I've made an RAF Jurby airfield at these coordinates N54* 20.4563' W4* 30.5762'. I've added it to my FS9 Scenery Library & it shows in the list of locations to choose from.When I clicked Fly Now I found I was at a barren location with these coordinates S33' 3.78'W55' 16.42' +632 in S.America. The only way I got to Jurby was by dragging my aircraft via Map to Jurby & saving the flight.Can anyone tell me why FS9 is misbehaving like this & is there a fix for this problem?

I bought Silloth after reading about it here (thanks Raindance) & have no problems with trees. The texture problem I do have is with objects in the 1939_l.bgl that Instant Scenery found. There are 150 objects here but I have 50 that don't show either all or just part textures....roofs or walls are white or even whole objects. Team SDB don't have contact details!! So - does anyone else have the problem I have with missing textures? Is there a fix?
