  1. I totally agree with it being related to OAT..i fly with active sky so its constantly changing temp, winds ect. However..it shouldnt be that huge of a difference..the temp isnt changing that rapidly within 10 to 20 minutes..we're talking 2 to 3% N1 changes which equates to blowing through a set mach within minutes...just seems a little excessive to me to have to literally spend the entire flight (every 10 minutes) adjusting throttles. Ive never flown a real falcon but i have flown a real CJ and thats not exactly how it works...micro adjustment here and there..sure..but your not continuously chasing power over the course of a 4 hour flight If it cant be fixed (maybe a limitation in the sim) id almost rather have a "backdoor" way of controlling it..maybe a hot key auto throttle or something. Not very realisting but then neither is this creeping issue Btw one thing ive noticed that makes me think its not OAT is if i adjust by advancing throttle..the creep slowly keeps advancing..if its a power reduction however then i will slowly bleed off N1.
  2. That was me lol...Very frustrating problem. In the real airplane you set cruise power and the airplane will settle in on a speed...from there you can make fine adjustments if need be...there is no auto throttle...this ive mentioned it to flysimware. But with this plane She wants to wander all over the place. I went from 74.2 N1 and .80 mach to 75.6N1 and blowing through VNE at around .94 withing 20 minutes. Not sure theres much they can do evidently but its an issue that borders making this $50 beauty unflyable for me. Its an absolutely awsome airplane by flysimware but this has kept mine on the ground lately until someone figures it out..its a real pain on a long flight..seems more pronounced at cruise altitude (390 or so). Im sure theres something they could tweak to make it less sensative but who knows

Just curious if anyone else has had issues with the GTN 750 (not just in the falcon..but has done this in the Lear as well) freezing somewhere mid point in a flight..say maybe a 3 hour hop..ill have to kick off the avionics master and "reboot" the gtn? I've got it set to use all cpu cores..its smooth when its running but every now and then it just freezes. Havent had it happen yet with any other aircraft aside from the Lear and now the Falcon.

Not to throw scott under the bus but..."charliearon" he literally posted the same EXACT picture I posted with the SAME copyright from the SAME website in the SAME way. Im just curious how my post was different? In this video on the take off note the trademark "whine" the garretts make at full power..but behind obviously is the deep thundering roar...then on the full stop landing once he deploys the reverse and gets into it..theres that window rattling roar..pure awsome. Years ago i used to work line service..always loved it when the pilot of a falcon trijet lands and absolutly lays into the throttle in reverse...pure awsome lol.
  10. If you listen to take takeoff..once the engines spool to full power it has that whine/groan sound. Im not sure but if i recal is got something to do with the compressor blades. Anyway..pretty distinct sound, similar to the way rolls royce RB211 has a much deeper groan to it at full power. As far as the outside thrust sound..its not bad by any means..i just love quite a bit more of that deep thundering roar. Maybe even turn up the outside reverse thrust roar too. At any rate..its not a bad sound set at all. Overall you guys did a VERY good job on this bird seriously! No complaints here at all!
  11. Thats awsome news...not anything against flysimware but id like to see the soundset upgraded a tad. The apu sound being the same inside and out was a little let down..but honestly overall they didnt to a bad job. Id love to hear a little more roar outside at full thrust and inside a little more of that trademark groan at full power
  12. Yup..just downloaded today..they did some adjustment to the N1 scalar and it seemed to help just a little but she still wanders...other than that she flies true..beautifull airplane
  13. Quick question..has anyone had a problem setting power at cruise speed/alt to actually hold a speed? Seems way too sensitive for me..ill set power and hold say mach .80 and it will slowly climb to well over vne..ill reduce power barely enough N1 to stop acceleration and she starts slowing to well below .7. Seems no matter what setting N1 im at..it has a hard time holding a set .84 for example..also notice that as its acceleration..N1 is slowly climbing as well..ill set say 74.2% and after about 20 minutes or so shes at 75.7 and blowing well past the barber pole..mach.93 ect. Tried to contact flysimware as im well aware shes still in beta just to see if there was a fix as was basically told im an word not allowed for "leaving the cockpit in an airplane with no autothrottle". Obviously in a real airplane (yes im a real world pilot) id never go kick back on the couch trusting the autopilot lol but its a sim. im all about realism but on a 4 hour flight if i have to step away for a few minutes to deal with kids lol its a pain to come back to an overspeeding airplane that is almost out of control..lol..theres gotta be a fix for this..any ideas?

Hey guys..ive been fooling with this on and off for over a year now and cant seem to get it to work..but the fuel logic mod for the aux tank on the hawker to switch off at 2% fuel just will NOT work for me. Is there ANY chance that someone could please email me a copy of the modded file with it already done so its just drop it in a folder and good to go? Apparently im too stupid to figure it out lol but ive tried it every way i can think of. Please help!
  15. OK guys, after reading this post over at SOH im on the right track....i think. Trying to make the tailwheel on the D18 free castering like it should be. Any chance I can get a hand at figuring this out? Im at a loss...especially where it says to change the 45 to a 180 in the contact points..ive narrowed it down but still unsure which value needs to be changed. Im not worried so much about the actual model animation, just want it to behave like a true beech which is steered with diff braking and power changes. any help is GREATLY appreciated!!
  16. hey all, Im sorry but Im NOT getting this to work and i cant figure out what im doing wrong, following the directions word by word. I unzip the .cab into a folder of the same name (GAUGE850XP). then I edit " Gauge_UPDATE_DIG.XML" copying to line 936... <!-- Toggle AUX Transfer lever off when under 2% of fuel --!> (A:FUEL TANK CENTER QUANTITY, gallons) 4 < if{ (L:ASD_LEVER_FUEL_CENTER_850XP, number) 0 != if{ 0 (>L:ASD_LEVER_FUEL_CENTER_850XP, number) } } and save the file. the only change i get is that it burns wing tanks and doesnt even recognize the aux...on or off it wont take fuel from the aux tank. ive tried this to the letter as well as making changes described here...THE ONLY change i get is that all 3 tanks burn all the time, its like it bypasses the aux lever. i assume when you have it on this code is supposed to flip it back up into the off position when it gets under 2%. . no matter what i cant get it to work. do i need to delete the cab file after? (tried that..no joy) do i need to compress this Gauge850XP back into a cab? i also tired moving the folder to the panel folder as suggested in the link above..no change. does someone have a file that i can just copy and paste? i have no idea what the hell im doing wrong but apparently i need something word not allowed proof lol. please help!

  19. windows 7 64 bit running fsx..installed WAMA and when I save position i get the following error message... "Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. if you click quit, the application will close immediately. object reference not set to an instance of an object" WAMA never used to do this but ive since had to reinstall EVERYTHING and now i cant get it to work. ive updated c++ and .net framework..not sure what to do to fix this..please help.

Ok hopefully someone can shed some light on this issue because i have googled the keys off my keyboard trying to find a fix for the king air and hawker and every other damn carenado navigraph equiped airplane ive paid for thinking it would work as advertised. Sorry..a bit frustrated about the money spent for two boat anchors that i cant use..ughh..with the 350i in particular as i have given up on the hawker. If i install it and go to load the airplane it has maybe 1fps and will NOT load the navigraph database. If i remove permissions (as suggested) on the carenavigraph folder the fps go up to about 15fps but drop to maybe 4 as soon as i kick on the avionics (proline 21 i have read is the problem). The fms "works" but fps is horrible. If i delete the proline21 gauge the plane works with no navigation. I dont want to spend another $50 or $60 on a gtn 750 just to use an airplane that still has so many other bugs its insane. Long story short..is there any recent fixes or work arounds that dont involve sinking more money into this thing? Is there any way to change the fms to a basic fsx based fms gauge? Sorry for the kurt post but im just fed up with carenado and they're buggy garbage that just looks good sitting on the ramp but doesnt function worth a hoot. Any way around this or am i just out money on a worthless product?
  21. I cannot find literally 1 single repaint of the carenado TBM 850. All im looking for is the 129BX typical paint scheme but in black instead of the blue that carenado offers. Are there ANY alternative repaints out there and if not, could someone possibly repaint the stock 129BX keeping it the same, just turn the blue into black?
  22. OK the panel lights in this thing are ridiculously too bright. ive tried to put up with it but its driving me nuts. Ive read the post about king air panel lighting, however the link to the texture file is broken and i cannot download the new dimmer texture that someone created...is there any chance that someone here has a copy of the modified dimmed down texture or another way I can tone down the lighting . PLEASE guys, Im Desperate to fix this!!

  24. Recently i started having problems with fsx crashing during flight. Got that problem solved but heres my issue with the ngx.....when restarting and loading my last autosave (to pick up where i left off when fsx crashed) the panel state is set to cold and dark. Question is...(and yes i HAVE read the manual 3 times over lol) how can i get the fmc to automatically load the most recent auto saved flight...that way i dont have to try and flip on the battery and manually load the last state. Also...i I save a flight in general...i dont remember how it was set but it used to just load the panel state exactly how i had left it the last time...now it seems i can only get cold and dark..short or long...or select the last autosave..( which may be from the last airplane i flew. In short...no matter what...i want the panel to load however it was the last time i was in the plane automatically.....please help..im clearly missing something Sorry for the duplicate posts...smart phone...dumb user..nuff said
