  1. I couldn't get the Intel CPU Diagnostics to run on my CPU 2600K, fails at BCLK. States clock is at 100, which happens to be optimal for Sandy Bridge. Others reported same problem.. Would have been nice to have though...Only problem I had is OC with stock cooler, FSX runs a tad warm with a stock fan. I couldn't run Prime more than a minute or two.Good luck with that replacement CPU...
  2. Pat,Your numbers are about right for your hardware..If FPS is a problem to you at JFK, drop water setting as it posses a problem at major airport surrounded by water. Remember this is a flight simulator. Enjoy..
  3. Get CPUID Hardware Monitor... check cpu fan speed and cpu temperatures..Check both ps connections on mb and cpu fan connected to cpu fan connection on mb.CPU will stay at 1.6 Ghz unless you run a reasonable load. When you in EFI bios "AI Tweaker" screen check the "Yellow" comments top it will tell what the bios setting target can produce.. Page 3-7Good luck..
  4. My P8P67 replacement. I thought I had a speed problem when seting up replacement mb but was because using an older version of CPU-Z. Need latest to see new B3 steping. Set your OC using the bios <del> and set ratio to 42 or so.Also make sure the onboard tpu and epu switchesare set to disabled (off).Saved profiles may not work either because of chipset and bios changes, I deleted them but haen't tried yet.ASUS tools work, monitor temp/cpu.Good luck...
  5. Could your fps be locked? I've done that when making changes.
