  1. OOPs, you are right, I was selecting the wrong Boonville. I have never done that before. Thanks for the assist
  2. I haven't used the sinm for a couple of months. Today I loaded the world update and then SU9. Everything seemed ok until I setup a flight from my favorite little airport in Boonville, Ca 4M2. The scenery has always been remarkably realistic, but now it is totally wrong. Generic buildings, missing nearby hills, etc. I don't know if this happened with yhe world update or su9. Anyone have any ideas what might have happened. BTW ...I am not using any scenery add-ons, just the standard. Thanks
  3. I also didn't get the prompt to download the update to 1.13.16 on startup. How do you get the update from the MS store? I went to the site, but I can't seem to locate a link.
  4. I have been running MSFS since it was released with no real problem. Loaded all the updates, no issues. Now all of the sudden I am getting strange happenings. First, a few days ago when I attempted to load the program it hung up on a black screen and wouldn't load. I uninstalled and reinstalled then it loaded fine. Now the program CTD on final when using an instrument procedure (Rnav or ILS). I just started trying instrument approaches so I am not sure if this bug has always been there. I have only tried it with the G-36 and the C172. I use the G-36 improvement project aircraft, and the G1000 v3.4. No other addons. Most sliders set to high or med. I get about 30 to 40 fps MY system...Intel i7 8700 @3.2 Ghz 16GB Ram Nvidia RTX 2060 8GB VRam Display Dell 27" @ 2560x1440 Any clues to what could be causing this would be appreciated
  5. I had the same issue with my Logitech 3D Pro after the last update. I reset the sensitivity to default. Worked like a charm. I did tweak the sensitivity a bit, but it wasn't really that bad with default settings.
  6. cavaricooper, you nailed it! changed my setting to "modern", everything worked great. Thanks for the tip. 😃
  7. Sorry, I should mentioned I checked that as well. Trim is set for takeoff. I also double checked the weight & balance just to be sure it was within spec. I haven't checked the "legacy" flight setting, I'll give it a try.
  8. After the update #5 I am getting this weird effect where the C172 simply won't leave the ground. All seems normal, but after accelerating to takeoff speed full back on the elevator simply raises the nose wheel about a foot, but no takeoff. I have been flying the C172 for weeks with no problems. The problem seems to be confined to the C172. I have tried several of the other prop planes and they are all fine. I deleted and reinstalled the C172, no difference. The control surfaces appear to move when I look at the external view. I removed the upgrade to the G1000 that I had in my community folder, still no luck. Anyone have any idea what could cause this?
  9. When using the C172, how do I close the data window on the right side of the MFB? I can clear all the inputs but can't seem to close the window. Probably a simple issue, but I'm stumped. It worked before the mod. Thanks
  10. I have had the same problem with the C172. The trim goes full nose down or up without any input from me. The first time it happened I was trying to set the autopilot so I thought I screwed up somehow. It now happens without touching the autopilot (turned off and never turned on). If I toggle the AI control to on it seems to be able to fly the plane fine. As soon as I turn AI control off it immediately goes back to full trim up or down. I have double checked all my joystick, mouse and keyboard assignments, they are good. The problem doesn't show up on every flight, seems to be a random issue. I assume it is a bug. I haven"t had the problem on other planes.
