  1. well... I landed, cleared the runway, taxiied to the gate, shut down and deboarded(checking the temps periodically), and still straight zero's across the system screen for brake temps. Next I'll try a RTO and see what happens.
  2. Thanks Phillip...hadn't thought of that. But I have checked periodiacally between flights, while preparing the next flight out, and still no temps. I'll try the RTO method on my next T/O Although that wasn't specifically directed at me...I still feel the need to clarify, LOL!! I in no way expect the NGX or other aircraft to be perfect, but like I said in my original post...I was just checking to make sure it wasn't "Pilot Error", if u will.
  3. Hello all, I know I haven't brought this problem up before, but I was quietly hoping someone brought this up in the forum somewhere. If it has been and I missed it... I apologize. However, I've noticed that I'm not getting a brake temperature reading. after touchdown, during taxi, after applying HEAVY Braking, it doesn't really seem to matter. I thought it might have something to do with the fact that I use the "carbon brakes" option in the "aircraft" menu. But recently tried to do it with standard brakes and still no temp reading. As I know this can't be normal, I'm asking does anyone else have or have already fixed this problem? I thought it might have been something addressed in SP1b but that still hasn't done it, for me at least. Though I'm not RW pilot, or completely compouter saavy, It could be a mistake on my end!! So just checking.
  4. might be a silly question... but is REX really necessary if you fly online? IVAO, or VatSim? I thought they have their on weather engine. Or does it just enhance what's on your computer through their weather engine? Only reason I'm asking is because I was considering purchasing it my self, but mainly fly online, and didn't want to waste the money!! But If it's as worth it as I hear people say It's done next week!!!
  5. Thanks for the update Robert. My prayers go out to you and your family through these troubling times. That was very professional of you to give the update, and precisely why I feel the service at PMDG is above the rest. Again, all the best to you and yours... As well as the rest of the ENTIRE PMDG staff and team!!!
  6. +1 for me. But its sporadic...it doesn't happen every flight. Just some. Haven't been able to pin point the cause though because it doesn't crash the whole sim. just IVAP. once you connect again it works perfectly...for a while.
  7. Thanks for the feedback! Will definately try that and get back with you...
  8. Actually I just want to control the options that are ALREADY on there. I understand that it was primarily designed for "prop" planes and not jets, so the starter issue I can live without. But it is supposed to control the battery, pitot heat, lights, and landing gear, which it does not. when I test the panel (in the panel test page) every button is functional. When I load any default a/c from the hangar, it works just fine. When I load the NGX...NOTHING.
  9. Is anyone out there using the Saitek yoke, throttle quad, rudder pedals, and switch panel? Or any combination there of? I recently purchased these items, (had been eyeballing them for a while) but wanted for release of the NGX so that I'd get them all at the same time. every thing is installed and working fine...EXCEPT the switch panel. I can't seem to get it to work with the NGX. it works fine with all the default a/c in the hangar, but load up the 737, and NOTHING. I've tried just about everything. even registered my copy of FSUIPC. still nothing. maaybe I just don't know what the **** I'm doing but no information i find is pointing in the right direction. I even went through the long and grueling process of uninstalling and reinstalling FSX!!! PLEASE HELP!!! Aaron
  10. Ok thanks, and nice touch I must say!!
  11. Hello all, Does these types of events happen automatically? Or do you have to activate them in some menu? Aaron
  12. Sorry for the late response. But was just trying it out and that time no problems with the steering. Complete flight from RJCJ/VTBD with no taxi problems But, I'not 100% sure fs2crew was fully operational either. Because my pushback feature wasn't working properly, and the FA'S didn't give the safety briefing. However, that doesn't mean I didn't do something wrong during the preflight or other phases of boarding/departure!! Will be back in touch when I can reproduce the problem at will. It might have just been a glitch.
  13. Positive... it didn't do it when I was in the cargo plane. just noticed it for the first time today, the first time i've flown the pax version. Hydraulics on auto, and on the HYD page of the SD all is green and in appropriate levels.
  14. Hey guys, Well unfortunately he's NOT the only one having this problem. I too am new to FS2CREW but my md-11 was turning fine, just not while fs2crew is operating. Was there ever a fix generated for this?
