I was like: "Oh this product is interesting" Then I learnt that. Show stopper. So I'm sticking with EZOK, less performing, but no connection requiered.

That's a cool option, will this have an impact on aerodynamics ?

Using the sim mostly to reproduce procedures, I'm really interested into the malfunction list that will come with this aircraft. Do you know when we could have it ?

Btw I'd like to know if 2D panels are back on this version, because 2D panels are better for operating the aircraft and procedural training, as well as for multi-monitors. You are totally right, the main reason why FSX products can't compete is mainly because of FSX, and also because of their price range: they cannot be as complete and cost 4x less. However, it is hightly probable than in a short term future, aircraft will simply integrate FSX - or other sims - visual and be totally simulated from an external point of view, giving better computer performances, aerodynamic, and why not, integrating simulink generated RT-C code to model the aircraft behavior in a really serious way. Hi there,I have the 737NGX activated since the first day it was released, and everything was fine with it.I replaced my motherboard, my CPU, my RAM, with no trouble, I replaced my graphic card with no trouble.Yesterday I pulled out of my computer my sound card, and this morning, I coudln't get into flight as I was prompt to activate the product.Here is what I get:So, it's the second time I try to activate the software, I don't understand why I have to since I never had to reinstall either my system or FSX. I opened a ticket this morning (14hours ago) and still have no answer, this is the week-end, meaning the two days in the week I can fly, and I am a bit seriously angry about this situation.Thanks for helpMilan Assuied

You can not buy sim time at CAE as you are not a professionnal training cie. You still can try to call them and ask anyway.However, CAE often offer sim ride as auctions for social associations. I recently made a demonstration for a Centraide winner, and another one for a Dr.Clown fondation winner.I made my first ride as a Centraide auction winner too.So .... look for it ... it usually cost 500$ to win. Maybe I'll be your demonstrator !

I am lucky enough to be a 737-800 flight demonstrator in addition to my main job: to develop simulated avionic displays.As some says here, the display is really poor, but the one I fly is an old one so ... it's better on recent ones. However you forget this quickly once you have the real Boeing stuff in your handsThe plane behave in a quite different manner than in FS. If you are trained in FS you can land it without trouble but it's gonna be brutal. It's heavy, spoilers are efficients, changing trust has a real momentum effect, and extending flaps will lead you out of your descent path.That's what it felt the first time I flown the sim. Do 3 - 5 touch and go and you're fine.By the way, I also made some demonstration in the A330 FFS: any monkey can land it without having any flying knowledege. I put a collegue inside, told him: target 700ft/min, and ... he did it. I then put him into the 737 and ... that was brutal. This means you never heard about CAE / Mechtronix ?.

Hi guys,So, I am really getting ###### with it. I just bought AS2012 hopping it will solve issues the previous version had, and guess what: no.So, I ask, what is the point of providing a save weather option, if it can't actually save what you manually entered 5 min before ? What trick shall I use in order to set a weather manually (and even see it applied in FSX, works 5% of time), come back, load it, and just get back all my winds/temp and cloud layers ?I'm seriously considering to ask for a refund at this point

Hi guys, I am trying to assign some autopilot events to my keyboard. This is easily done with FMC Menus (by the way: excellent idea to concentrate everything in the FMS !!). However, I have to manually repeat the keypress in order to get the event repeated. This is a bit boring when i am changing autopilot heading. So I would like to know if it is possible just to hold the key, and get an autorepeat, as you can get with FSUIPC. Thanks !

Hi all,I have memory issues with FSX at the moment.I used procmon and see that merely all texture are not found for this aircraft. Actually, I can find the .dds in the general aircraft texture folder. But i can't find any .bmpI don't think this is the only cause of my problem because it happens only 3 times, but for ALL textures.Please have a look on the screenshot attachedm thanks for your help !
