  1. Hi Kyle, thanks for your quick answer. I browsed through every path of the PMDG SETUP in the CDU and read/scrolled through the Introduction Manual, but couldn't find anything regarding that topic. Can you give me another hint? If my description wasn't clear enough, I can try to explain it again. Best regards
  2. Hi, I wonder if it is possible to modify the way the AP responds to deviations from parameters set in the MCP? Or rather the general "smoothness" of the inputs the AP makes? E.g. when changing the heading, the movement of the aileron is roughly as follows (assuming dead air): it starts deflecting at a certain speed to a maximum deflection, stays there until it is close to the aimed bank angle before the deflection reduces at a certain speed until the aileron reaches a position that maintains the bank angle. Does anyone know if is it possible to modify the AP in a way, that this process becomes a bit "smoother" or "harsher"?
  3. I have already contacted PMDG because of this and they told me something like that. Sounds logical, but I thought that over the next few weeks/months after release one of the many smart guys of our FS community would crack this problem, as always . Sadly that's not the case...
  4. The last post clearly states: "Note that this workaround may not help with non-working gear, ailerons, reversers, etc." So that's not the solution for the problem... Look at all the pmdg777 videos on youtube, especially the wing views. The plane starts rolling to a 30° turn and NOTHING on the wing moves. That looks really stupid. There has to be a solution for that
  5. According to Boeing the pilot is supposed to add at least 5 knots to Vref on approach, depending on wind etc. So why does the flaperon go up at Vref+5?
  6. All the previous PMDG planes had no problems with it, but if I replay a landing with the 777 using FS-Recorder, controls on the wings are not moving (both flaperon & aileron). To be more precisely, the flaperon changes position related to the flap's position and e.g. moves up when reverse thrust is activated on the ground, but the inputs done by the yoke are not shown. Is there a trick to make them move normally? Maybe the fly-by-wire system prevents the moves. At least the Autopilot was off, so it must be something different.

EDIT: I dont know why, but topic exists twice. TOPIC CAN BE DELETED.
  8. Thanks for sharing your impressions, Jane! I've got a question: Right before the pilotes accelerate the engines to TO/GA and before landing at about 50ft, you can hear a loud noise in the passenger cabin (I guess it's from a hydraulic system). Do you know if this feature is implemented? Example before take off (14:54) : Example before landing (7:25) :
  9. Just noticed the video isn't shown for some reason, I'll just do it again... sorry EDIT: Well, links seem not to work anymore :( Just go on the main page of youtube and add this to the URL: "/watch?v=1BIAFza9p-w"
  10. Probably the translation is wrong, I found nothing else... the German word is "vogelfrei" and the translation was this...
  11. Take 7 64bit. XP will not be supported anymore 2014, means no updates... makes your PC outlawed.
  12. Don't mix GEX with GSX. GEX is Ground Environment X for ground textures, and GSX is Ground Services X, for the airport traffic etc.
