Hi, i just start my first paint, and got a quick question : -I can paint winglets creating a new layer in winglet folder (Master psd file), i apply my design on that layer in Multiply mode (located on the top of the winglet folder), is it the right manner to do ? -As the Tail painting, shall i apply the winglets painting in a another PSD file which is not the master file ? -About converting file : I have Photoshop CS5, can i convert in DDS, how to do that ? After testing during 2 weeks : Problem solved !! Thanks to Ryan (PMDG staff) and jazz69. That was exactly the solution : water setting 1x and change texture of Rex with the one called "Use this". Everything is fine now. Thanks !

Hi all, my computer is almost the same as Jazz69 (Caviar Black for me, the only one difference). Softs installed : Fs passenger, UTX, GEX, Active sky evolution, track IR, that's it. My water setting was set on Lowx2, i just changed that on Medium x1. I m gonna try for 1 or 2 weeks like that. Thanks for your help.

Since i installed sp1c, i have problems during departure procedure. I m sure my computer is strong enough, the problem is 737NGX ! During departure, my fps drop down, for no reason, i tried so many airport, maybe not a scenery issue. I just try a take off from CYYZ, and fps drop down again ... i canceled my flight and start up again (no fmc programmation, take off in rush ), and it works perfectly. That s issue appears randomly, i don t know why. Can you help me ? Thanks

I knew that bug, but especialy here, it is not exactly the same issue. Even if you clic on Q twice, it doesn't work in that case.

Ok guys, i didn't find why the sound bug appear, but i found when, and i find how to resolve (not in the totality) it.When you re too far from an airport, fsx does not switch on airport view anymore, at this time, the bug appears ! So, during the flight, get 2 views only (cockpit and external) is normal. I was able to reproduce the bug and at the end of a flight (approaching airport), you can switch on the airport view ... And you know what ? The sound bug disappears ! That's a bug ! I don't know what is the link between views and sounds, but anyway, i just found a tricky solution, but it s enough.Thanks for reading.

Hi all,i never met this problem before, or never take care of that ...When i m flying, i would like to switch view (Press S button), i lost certain sounds (i still have engines sound, reverse, and voices) like when i press button to arm spoiler, a/p button, Y/D button etc ...It happens only when i switch to the external view ... However, when i switch with S button, i have an another strange bug, i have only 2 views : Cocpit and external ... I suppose to have others like airport view and engine view ...At the begining of a flight (on ground), i have no problem, it appears only in flight ...Any ideas ?

Hi all,i have a problem with my NGX, i enter everything in the FMC and so Transition Altitude (5000' in my following example). I supposed my cruise level in my example is FL330.During take off, i climb over 1000' and select ON VNAV and LNAV. Everything is ok, but once on TA (5000'), the aircraft doesn't climb more, however, my cruise level is entered in the MCP (33 000')I was waiting during many minutes before deciding something ... Finaly after 5 minutes, i deselected VNAV option and selected it ON again ... The aircraft is started to climb (Finaly !).I m not sure to understand where is my mistake, but i m pretty sure i did something wrong. I try it 2 times, for 2 flights, and got exactly the same problem. I just bought this aircraft, pretty sure i missed something ...Can you help me ?Thanks.

Hi everybody, first of all, a friend have offered me the JS41 for my last birthday (AWSOME !! Love it !), and now, i have bought many days ago your 737 NGX. My english is not good enough to say how much i m satisfied, and very surprised about the job under the shape. AMAZING !I have proceed today for my first learning session with my new toy, and one wird thing appeared with the FMC.I was entering the ROUTE with the FMC panel, and testing the TAB option (to enter the text with my keyboard). Everything ok, but suddenly, i wanted to enter the waypoint OMASI, when i enter the O and the M after, the M replace the O ... I try to enter anything else, and a letter replace automaticaly an another letter ... I have no choice to enter single letter !! Impossible to continue with my FMC device. I try to push button DELETE, CLEAR everything, but nothing. I try my keyboard assistance (TAB option, or clicking in the zone to swith on keyboard) as well ... same problem ! I was trying the FMC panel 2, and everything was ok. During my first flight, my FMC panel 1 was out of service ... Why ? What happened ?? After my first flight, i decided to reloade the aircraft, and after testing exactly the same route (and same waypoint OMASI) everything looks ok now ... Hi all,i have the JS41 since many months, and i m realy happy with.I have a computer based on I7 2600K OC 4.5, Nvidia 560Ti, 8Go , 2 Caviar black, win7 64bits, 2 screens. Rex2+Gex+UTX. I have a FSX.CFG tweaked, with ******* tweaks and mine.In the cockpit with JS41, i have 20/30FPS (JS41 settings max ! Except icing effect in the cockpit because i have a flashing bug in max position, i have to set in the middle).On a scene like Aerosoft mega airport Paris i have 15FPS (Outch !), but i m pretty sure the scene is responsible (not optimized at all in my advise). Anyway !My question is about the NGX. It's a big plane, technicaly better than JS41, but it is the most eater of FPS ? I need to know that before buy this new plane, so i need your advises.Thanks to you.
