Seems over the years that Vatsim is a lot less popular than it was. I try and fly out of ATL a lot and I rarely see controllers online. I'd figure for as decently busy of an airspace as Atlanta they would be staffed. Just wondered if there's a better alternative. Not dissing, or calling out any controllers just wishing there was more online ATC available. Makes the experience better that's for sure.

What's the advantage of AoA? Just in depth description of the NGX?

I turned my Weather setting in FSX to Very Low as well as my Scenery to Very low and Graphics off. I was able to make both flights this time with no crash at all. Can my video card not handle the high settings of Scenery/Weather? Thats what I like about FSX. Will Active Sky and Weather Settings low make a difference? Just trying to see what works for people.

I noticed this when I was flying into KCLT the other day. Can't remember which runway but I was way to high and was way to far to the west.

Does anyone have an issue with FSX freezing while speeding up the simulation? I tried downloading the DLL that is supposed to help with the right clicking issue and freezing. I did a flight from KCHA-KATL-KMCO and on my climb out to KMCO my flight froze. Was at 4x on the simulation rate. Also I was flying offline. No vatsim was on this flight. I was trying to see if it was a possible squawk box issue for my freezes mid flight. I've uninstalled most of the add-on software to see if that was the possible problem as well. Doesn't seem to be. Anyone have a clue? J

Thanks Ryan. I did not see the REX error in there until you mentioned it. It really is a joy to fly the NGX. I hope you can tell by the screen shots I've taken.

Thats probably a fair assumption. Did you get this same error?

It's never done this before though. I don't think anything has updated recently. Would that still be the problem?

I thought after install updates were installed. Yes this is the first time. Windows 7 64 bit ultimate.

Ok this is getting old. Spent all this money on a new machine and halfway into an hour and a half long flight, FSX shuts down. Microsoft .NET FrameworkUnhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately.Exception From HRESULT: 0xC000020D. Do you need the details of the error? I can copy/paste them. This is just getting really old. I guess it can be user error as well but hopefully someone will help or it will be time to support another ticket.

REX 2.0 is pretty awesome. Almost need some Raybans!

What speed should I be shooting for? Thought 140-150 was the range I needed to be in.

I just don't see why FSX is failing so much. I did a fresh reinstall of the NGX this morning and that helped a little bit but I still get Fatal Errors. Should I be reinstalling FSX now?

Packs were set to Auto. This time I made it to straight and level at 13,000 ft. (Short leg flight) Audible alarm continued to sound and I have no idea what it was. As I right clicking in the cockpit to switch through my view options FSX crashes again. This is pretty irritating.
