  1. Thanks Kenneth for your advice. I did that and this is what I came up with. fsx.exe 10.0.61637.0 46fadb14 demo.dll 10.0.61637.0 46fadb57 40000015 00002fee f38 01cc7556fcdc9f2a C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\fsx.exe C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\demo.dll f7dc3324-e162-11e0-9fd8-bcaec5b7a692 Looks like the registry is corrupted.....I think. Thanks again for your input. Guess I'll continue to fiddle with FSX. It seems that's what I'm doing half of the time with FSX anyways. But I've learned alot since then and I'm not afraid to re-install FSX, or all of my addons if I need to. :-)
  2. Hello everyone, I know this is not PMDG related, but I hope to get logical answer to the problem I'm experiencing. I've looked on other forums but has yet gotten any real answers / solutions. I've been experiencing this message "Visual C++ Error, Runtime Error R6025 -Pure Virtual Function Call" while replaying FSX videos. It doesn't happen all of the time, and when it does, it forces FSX to shut down. After restarting FSX, sometime the video will play and sometimes it shows this "Visual C++ Error, Runtime Error R6025 -Pure Virtual Function Call" again. This is very annoying, and I'm starting to get used to the idea of not recording my flight, but it's a bug that's really been bugging me. However, I like to be able to record and watch my flight again if I can find a solution for this. I've only been a simmer for about 7 mos. I know most of you simmers in here are veterans with years and years of experience and probably came across this problem at one time or another. Any good advice or answer to a fix is much appreciated. Thanks Dave
  3. Not sure if I did this rite. I followed PMDG's instructions and added the "HIGHMEMFIX=1" to FSX.cfg. When I did this, there was an existing line there already but it says something like "HIMEMFIX=1". Now, was I supposed to edit the existing "HIMEMFIX=1" to "HIGHMEMFIX=1", or just add the suggedted "HIGHMEMFIX=1 and leave the existing "HIMEMFIX=1 there as well. Thanks.
  4. I have no problem with my Saitek flight yoke, throttle quadrant and rudder pedal. The problem I'm having with is my Saitek Multi, Radio and switch panels.
  5. Does anyone here using tripple monitor set up for FSX? If so, do you lose FPS when running FSX in window mode? Thanks In Advance
  6. First off, reason I'm posting my NGX experience is to hopefully get some positive feed back to better my gameplay / flight sim experience with the new 737NGX. I'm not here to knock PMGD nor offend the PMGD hard cores here. Also, we can leave out the feud between Intel/AMD, Nvidia/ATI set up. My specs is located under my sig. After installation I fired up FSX, looked for the NGX and there she was, parked in my hanger. After I selected the 737NGX and hit "Okay", when returing to the main screen, it was black. I waited (about 1 min. or so) then the NGX came up on the splash screen but transparent. I waited again and the plane appeared . Perhaps because it's a new s/w and need time to adjust to my system. Same thing happened when I switched from VC view to engine view, then back to VC. I even had to restart FSX, The textures and details, from the dust to the finger prints on the instruments, to the sign of being used was impressive. Better than the free addons I've been using. Ohh, this was my first payware for aircraft btw. The sound was so so, or maybe a tad better than some of the free ware out there. Frame rate was horrible. I was getting between 8-15 fps..........even at FL20 and FL30. And usually at this altitude, I can easily achieved 30fps. (I have my pfs locked to 32fps btw....) After taking off on a test flight, I realized that my Saitek Proflight Radio, Multi and Switch panel does not work with the NGX, and to retract the landing gear, I had to use the "G" key on the keyboard. Even clicking on the lever didn't work. Thankfully, the flight yoke, throttle quadrant and rudders works fine. The flight dynamics was very stable, and very easy to manage. I hand flown this via VFR back to EGKK and it was a smooth landing. Again, had to use the "G" key for the landing gears. TGIF and I will be toying with this the whole weekend. If I can get my pfs up and my Saitek panels to work properly, I will be a happy simmer. If not??? I would hate to have to resort to mouse clicking and keyboard pecking to fly this bird. Any suggestions or input is welcome.
