Seating configuration
Is there a way to change the seating configuration or did I just miss it some where in the FMC?

A quick look at the 737-600
Ok... I'd love to see you really get any jet larger than a CRJ-700 into Aspen... have fun with that one! Oh and for all those other airports that only regionals can fly into... I guess all those people that have to drive 10 hours to the nearest major airport will just have to deal with it then... yes, we'll close up every single airport that can't fit anything larger than a 737 just so the mainline carriers can haul less people for more money. With out the Regionals, the ones that FEED the mainline, the mainline may as well just fold up. No one would want to fly them. So, so much for your pilot job. My guess is that you can't/wont see the big picture. What ever the case may be, the regionals will always be where mainline pilots, a good chunk of them, come from. You have to get some experience from somewhere and a mainline will not hire you if you just have 50 hours. Some regionals will hire you with 800 hours but to be competitive you need 1300 hours. Oh, and those pilots that were furloughed from the mainline... OMG... a lot of them were hired by the regionals. Hummmm seems to me someone has to do some more homework on what they talk about before opening their mouth and bad mouth the regional airline industry. But then, this really isn't the right forum to be debating this. So let's get back onto topic here.

A quick look at the 737-600
Because without regional carriers there wouldn't be as many pax for mainline carriers, not to mention the CRJ, compared to the 600, is more a more stable aircraft and more fuel efficient thus providing more revenue for both the regional and mainline carrier. But that's what it's like in the real world though....just a fact.

AGREED!

please please don't forget the BBJ
Nope, it's operated by KLM and the BBJ is listed in the KLM fleet (according to planespotters.net)

please please don't forget the BBJ
I have no problems with waiting Paul. I love the fact that Robert gives us updates as to where they are on the SP1 and the 600/700. Although, just thinking about it... the BBJ is a 700. I wouldn't see any problems for them to add the info into the FMC where you would set up the aircraft. Or would I be wrong with that?
-
please please don't forget the BBJ
I hope they don't forget the BBJ either. KLM does fly a BBJ from EHAM to KIAH. It would be nice to fly that route in a PMDG rather than the other, not to be mentioned company, BBJ.

30SEP11: More SP1 & 600/700 Schedule Changes...
So Jigsaw, what you're saying is that the windows OS are not all based on the same platform? You poor disillusioned child. Oh.. and windows update functions do work when you have an illegal copy. Don't know where you get your info from, but you are totally wrong with that. But I do have a legal copy of the windows OS that I currently run. And why do you assume that I am having trouble with windows or that I hate windows. I'm not the one that made this a little rant... YOU did! I suggest that you learn more about your OS and it's history than opening your mouth and inserting both your feet! So, who's the stupid one? Not I!As for me.. this case about windows is closed because as Wannabflyer just stated, "I think this thread has turned into something different to its original intent". Have a nice day!

A few things here...1.) FSMP, you are totally correct about Microsoft windows. 2.) MDChase... Yes, Microsoft does charge for hotfixes... Windows Vista is a hotfix for Windows XP, Windwos 7 is a hotfix for Windows Vista. If you haven't seen it, Windows is pretty much all the same thing with hotfixes left and right. You'd be stupid not to see it in the first place! 3.) This is a computer program MDChase, not all the bugs are out of it. When new aircraft were introduced to the military, the real military that is not the coast guard, the military still had to fix all the bugs. So get with the program and come down from your high horse. 4.) Why are we all even writing/answering this guy when he can't even follow forum rules have his name at the bottom of his posts! Just a thought! And Robert, you guys take your time getting the SP1 right. As long as we keep getting updates on progress, I'm good with it... as are 99.99% of the others here!

25SEP11: Latest Hotfix and SP1 Scheduling..
Kevin are you using the 32 bit or 64 bit for your OS? If you're using the 32 bit, you may think of going to the 64 bit. The 32 bit will only see up to the 3 GB and the 64 bit will see it all. FSX is more processor/ram powered than video card powered, thus the more ram you have in your computer the better FSX will run.
