  1. I keep getting lock-ups whenever I key in my cruise altitude on the FMC. Tried it 3 times and it locks up at the same point, any idea what this could be?
  2. Placebo effect? Another GFX card makes no difference at all.
  3. This seems to have actually fixed my CTDS, none yet... managed to do a few full flights. Thanks!
  4. As long as you utilise common sense when downloading/placing DLLs, you should be fine. This sounds like the exact problem I'm having, I already have the automationcore but I'll try the others, thanks.
  5. The strange thing with me is that I'll have random flights that I can fully complete with no crash.. most of the time I can fly in to the UK with no problems but trying to land anywhere else and everything locks up..
  6. I keep getting fatal errors on final too, with PMDG_737NGX.DLL being the dll causing it. Any ideas? It also seems to happen when I'm doing something on the FMC..
  7. Been getting this too, except my final freezes are full on CTDs.
  8. Thank you trisager, this was the one thing I needed serious help with.
  9. Think I've managed to get it to work.. somewhat at least. Plan your flight WITHOUT a STAR on FSC, then delete the nearest waypoints from the dest. airport until you get a fair bit away, then enter that route in to the FMC. Once you get close to your dest./find out the active runway, switch to FSC again and bring UP SID/STAR/TRANS > STAR > SELECT, then literally scroll through the list of STARs to find an approach that's suitable and heads off from the last waypoint in your flight plan, then choose the exact STAR in the FMC. The problem I've been having (I think) is that the STARs I've been choosing START further back either from where I'm currently at OR the last waypoint in my flight plan, and the plane ends up looping back on itself to head for the first waypoint of the STAR. Also you must make sure that your AIRAC cycles for FSC and FMC match up.
  10. I've been getting this too and just wanted to ask, could a mis-matching AIRAC between FSC and the FMC cause a back-forward-over yourself STAR approach?
  11. Thanks JC75, I'll try using Vroute for my next flight plan to see if it gets any better. If not I'll take a few shots of the messed up STAR approach to see if we can get somewhere.
  12. I'm still getting used to the FMC (first aircraft I've used with an FMC believe it or not), and have managed to get everything set up fine.. until it's time for the approach. I take the whole STAR thing from the tutorial and whatnot and use it for whatever airport I'm coming in to, but I get this labyrinth of routes coming up that the plane tries to follow, one time I even had a route that took me back to the previous waypoint only to come back where I started for the approach.. if I even manage to make the approach. You could say my question is how to know which STAR/transition to use? I've read the manual.
