  1. I use FSX Flight Tracker. It works quite nicely with P3D too: http://www.fsxtracker.com/ Rich
  2. Ahh... That explains it. Shame - worked so well in FSX. Cheers and all the best, Rich
  3. Hi, Anyone know if the 1/2 refresh rate setting is working in V3? Eg. 30hz on a 60hz monitor.... Gut (or rather, my eyes) feeling is that it's not... Cheers, Rich
  4. Perfect - that fixed it for me! Thanks, Rich
  5. Thanks all, much appreciated. Will have a quick pay with the sacred and panel states, and check out those programmes. Any hints of tips for good landings? Aim points, when to flare etc? Cheers, Rich
  6. Merry Christmas all! Hope everyone is having a good time - maybe even fitting in a sneaky flight... Quick question for any of those in the know - some of my landings recently have been somewhat, firm, I would say. I was wondering if it was possible to set up a save game/panel state with either the 777 or 737 (I'm better at the 737 at the moment) on short final, so I can practice my landing technique... Any suggestions how I would go about doing this? Is it just a case of doing a save game in FSX and then saving an associated panel state at that time? Ideally - so I can just reload and try again. Also - any nice tips on perfecting that landing (and any suggestions of programmes to record the landing fps?) Cheers in advance, All the best, Rich
  7. Thought it might be. Thanks! Rich
  8. Afternoon all, Just a quick one (I suspect it's a 'no' as it will be something buried away in the code) but is it possible to alter the distance before the Pause at TOD? For example, set the pause to something like 100nm before TOD? Cheers, Rich
  9. Cheers Luke - it was one of those things I was sure I'd read about, but never actually seen when flying. Thought it might be something to do with the livery/model I tend to fly in (FedEx Freighter). Enjoy the beta :-) All the best, Rich
  10. Just a quickie, and applogies if it's something I've missed that's already implemented... Are the Alternate Airport arrows new as well? All the best, Rich
  11. Cheers Pete, All fixed now - I use ASN and REX takes up a fair bit of disk space that I needed - so took it off when REX4 was installed. Thanks for your help and suggestions, Rich
  12. Thanks both - I'm aware of the REX 'issue' - just I absentmindedly uninstalled without checking I had the Duke/compatible lights loaded. What I might end up doing is re-installing REX, changing back to the Duke lights (take a copy!) and then go back to the REX4 textures. Bit of a faff for one file, but being restricted to daylight only flights is a bit less fun ;-) Cheers, Richard
  13. Evening all, Just asking a quick favour please... Recently changed from REX to REX4, which has resulted in the offset (i.e. 2-300 ft off the front right!) taxi and landing lights... Usually I'd sort this out by installing the compatible lights within REX, but I don't have this option any more... So..., I understand that the problem is caused by a modified file: spotlight.bmp. Would anyone be willing to email me with thier version of this file that will work with the '11? Much appreciated! Cheers, Rich
  14. Ace - that's sorted it! Thanks for that! Cheers, Rich
