  1. If you're using Windows 10, I'm sure there's a text scaling option (selected as a percentage) that you use to fix the small text issues. Can't remember where it is found - but guessing somewhere in the display settings - hopefully that'll negate the need for a second monitor! Am sure others will chip in to confirm. All the best, Rich Edit: Oops - just saw you know about the scaling. I've used it on a work PC with 4k and it worked really well with all the applications. Wasn't aware that some didn't play nicely!
  2. Thanks Steve and Brian - sorry about the delayed reply (house move and distinct lack of connectivity...). That's something I'll look into doing. I've a few weeks in the hanger now while other things get sorted out, so will give me something to occupy (more of) my time... Again, reflecting probably what everyone thinks - thank you both (and all the other talented painters) for your time and efforts with these liveries. It's massively appreciated and adds so much to the community. All the best, Rich
  3. Cheers - no rush (actually, I'm going to have a period of enforced grounding the next couple of weeks. Moving house and no internet!). Would like to have a crack at painting - but don't have Photoshop (I'm assuming that's needed to do this sort of thing...)? All the best, Rich
  4. Brilliant stuff - Will have a copy of that when it's available. Any chance of a RR engined version...?
  5. I think if you remove the runway (it's near the top of the route planner) - there's a drop down menue of the available runways - it gets rid of the SID/STAR - though could be wrong. That's what I pretty much do... Rich
  6. I use FSX Flight Tracker. It works quite nicely with P3D too: http://www.fsxtracker.com/ Rich
  7. Ahh... That explains it. Shame - worked so well in FSX. Cheers and all the best, Rich
  8. Hi, Anyone know if the 1/2 refresh rate setting is working in V3? Eg. 30hz on a 60hz monitor.... Gut (or rather, my eyes) feeling is that it's not... Cheers, Rich
  9. Would love a FedEx version....
  10. Perfect - that fixed it for me! Thanks, Rich
  11. Thanks all, much appreciated. Will have a quick pay with the sacred and panel states, and check out those programmes. Any hints of tips for good landings? Aim points, when to flare etc? Cheers, Rich
  12. Merry Christmas all! Hope everyone is having a good time - maybe even fitting in a sneaky flight... Quick question for any of those in the know - some of my landings recently have been somewhat, firm, I would say. I was wondering if it was possible to set up a save game/panel state with either the 777 or 737 (I'm better at the 737 at the moment) on short final, so I can practice my landing technique... Any suggestions how I would go about doing this? Is it just a case of doing a save game in FSX and then saving an associated panel state at that time? Ideally - so I can just reload and try again. Also - any nice tips on perfecting that landing (and any suggestions of programmes to record the landing fps?) Cheers in advance, All the best, Rich
