Anybody using this? Why nothing on AVSIM?
Well, of course I couldn't keep myself from coming back. Sorry the thread took a bad turn guys and I'm sorry if anyone took offense. I'm in no way to be associated with FSPS. My username probably doesn't add to my credability either. I've removed the youtube video, probably for the best that people wait for an official review somewhere.Anyway, to lighten up the mood I'll drop a few pics of my little freeware project aside to be uploaded to the avsim library in a few months. Always loved this aircraft! It will be for FSX and FS2004 as I'm mostly using FS2004. You're actually the first people to see this and there are a few flaws I'm aware of here and there, like a slightly to large main gear and some other stuff that I'm going to rectify. Figured I'd drop the pics here as the thread seems to have gone slightly off-topic already. Maybe I'll stop by the modelling sub-section from time to time here on AVSIM.Now back on topic and disregard my previous posts, please. Take care all!

Hi! It's funny how you say that you respect everyones opinion and at the same time say that you haven't got the slightest idea how I can think this is "THE addon I've been looking for". As I clearly state "THE addon I've been looking for", this isn't applicable on everybodey else, this is my opinion and obviously you're not cool with it. I tried to be helpful by spending, no wait, wasting two hours creating and editing a video (yes it took me that long as I'm not usually making videos). The only reason I did this was that when I googled around trying to find some sort of review/preview of the software, this forum thread on AVSIM came up with people looking for the same thing. Anyway I ended up buying it and because I liked it I wanted to show it to other people contemplating buying it just as I did. And still, the sound effects are as I said on maximum possible volume to somehow be able to distinguish between the stock IFly sound and the software generated sounds. You can make it as loud or silent and subtle you'd like it to be. I understand you guys though, dubious poster shows up and spreading words about how marvelous an addon is. You see, this wasn't really my intention and I'm really sorry if my first post is misleading anyone to buy this stuff for the wrong reason. As I said and as Psolk implied, this addon won't do you an good if you are already happy with how your flight sim sounds. I will just remove the youtube link and stay clear of this forum for everyones sake. It's funny how everytime I try to be helpful it only causes me grief, I give up. Happy flight simming everyone!

I might have taken this in the wrong way but I hate this "your opinion is nearly useless because you don't have more than 1-2 posts"-mentality everywhere. This reminds me of why I in general stay away from message boards. Anyhow, along with IFly 737NG and its accompanying FS2Crew this addon makes my experience so much more fun and immersive and I just wanted to give people a preview of the sounds. I've looked for ages for an addon or sound package that could mimic how the sound react depending on flap/spoiler position and to this date I've never found anything remotely realistic. Many addons are worth their $$$ but as I value a realistic sound environment above all else this one really hit my sweet spot and therefore I got excited about it. Of course, if you don't feel the sound experience in the sim lacking, just walk away, nothing to be seen really :) Also, in the video the software was put on max volume, there are different settings to fiddle around with to make the experience more subtle. In the end, this addon will be utterly useless for people already happy with their sound environment in the sim :)

Hi again! Here we go FSPS Dolby Cockpit Sounds. The sounds on approach are impressive. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GoyHkkYewpc

Hi, I'm not usually active on forums. Like many I've cashed ouy loads of money on nearly useless addons in the past but this one is so good that I felt I had to respond to this thread. Dolby Cockpit Sounds is THE addon I've been looking for during my nearly 10 years involvement in the flight simming hobby. I think the sound environment is one of the most important aspects for the sense of immersion. I'm uploading an IFly 737ng vanilla vs Dolby Cockpit Sounds-version to youtube in an hour or so. Will put link in this thread. The video will show differences on sounds at take-off, approach, spoiler action and manual braking in the IFly 737ng for FS9. I think the FSX-version should sound about the same. Thanks,TheRandomGuy
