Anybody using this? Why nothing on AVSIM?

Featured Replies

Not yet Mark. Only found one review so far. Looking for more reviews before I do. Took to many plunges on great ideas with poor results.... Strange how nothing is on AVSIM about it.

Yeah, I dig...it's $26 smakeroos and the question that comes to mind is how effective will it be? Could be great, could be adequate...hopefully its a worthwhile purchase...Mark

It would have been nice if they provided a demo on say the default 737 to try before you buy.

Looks like it could be a great add on. I've been waiting for sounds of buffeting from gear, flaps and speed brakes for ages. Why isn't AVSIM posting it like FLightsim did? I've noticed this happening more and more. Does AVSIM only support people that advertise with them, or is it that AVSIM will only do a press release if the release is sent to them? It looks like I'll have to be the crash test dummy on this :)

AVSIM does not go out and look for releases. The company must send information to AVSIM. Advertising has NOTHING to do with this!

Let us know Jeff! Waiting to hear Nail%20Biting.gif

I figured that was the case. I couldn't figure out why a product release would not want to be mentioned on AVSIM. Thats why I asked. Thanks Jim

I looks like its for all aircraft. It would be nice if a demo was for a default aircraft to try before you buy, thats all.

I bought it. Just did a test flight. It appears to connect thru FSUIPC. You can adjust the sound levels and the speakers you want producing the sound. Works as advertised and adds quite a bit to the experience. As far as $28.00 not sure if it's worth that much. At $15.00 it would be worth it for sure. No having to edit aircraft configs to place the sounds in. Overall I really like it.

Thanks Jeff,Interesting you don't have to modify anything... Did you try it with birds like the I-Fly, PMDG or LVL-D? Curious how it handles the complex add-ons.Thanks again Jeff!-P
