  1. Hello everyone, I'm new to this forum and and been thinking about buying aerosim s Classic Liners 2 package, mainly because of the tristar. However I have a couple of questions before buying and I hope that maybe some of the package owners can answer them for me. Does the Aerosim L-1011 simulate the DLC (direct lift control) system during final approach? On the real L-1011, during approach(I think when the flaps were > 30) the spoilers extended automatically a certain amount, pushing forward on the yoke extended them more, pulling on the yoke retracted them . Therefore vertical changes to stay on the glideslope were achieved with little pitch changes. Is this simulated? Also is the flying stabilizer simulated? Unlike other aircrafts where only the elevator control surfaces move to reflect pilot inputs,on the L-1011 the entire horizontal stabilizer moved when the pilots pushed or pulled on the yoke. Finally, wow are the overall flight dynamics of this bird?I have read different things about this and from the aerosim support page I gather, the SP adressed this somewhat. So is it possible to fly the L-1011 roughly on the real numbers from the aircraft manual/FCOM? Thank you in advance, regards, Oliver
  2. Hi Hobbs, if it still helps, I think the reason why the FMC doesn't it, is because your are missing one digit in each coordinate. The north/south latitude has to have 5 digits, while the east/west longtitude has to have a 6digit format. Since I assume your waypoint coordinates are exact down to the minute, you just have to add a "o" to both coordinates and enter it into the FMC scratchpad in the following format: N45260W073480 This seems to work, I just tested it with your coordinates with my 737Pmdg installation.Let me know if this works on your computer Regards , Oliver
  3. Hello Mr. Scott, I've been following the TM2 project for a long time now and really enjoy this aircraft. So first thank you very much for your great work on this aircraft! I was just wondering, is the TM2 project still alive and developement continuing? Or have you stopped working on it ?Are there any future updates planned to incorporate things from the wishlist or other new things? It would be very nice to know if this project is still alive. Maybe you could give just a short notice. Thank you very much again for this amazing freeware. Kind regards, Oliver
  4. Hello Trevor, though I'm not the thread starter, I wonder if you would be so kind to send me a copy of your corrected flight dynamics as well? I always found the FDs to be the weak spot of this otherwise superb piece of freeware. So I would highly appreciate any improvement. My email adress is: [email protected] Thank you very much for work on the FDE. Kind regards, Oliver
  5. Onebob, thanks a lot for sharing your settings, these might be well worth a try even if yours are for FSX.I alreadyplayed with the texture_bandwidth_multi variable, but it seems to have no visible effect (neither positivenor adverse) on my graphic performance. Thanks again Onebob , I appreciate you trying to help!Best regards,Oliver
  6. Hello everyone,I'm fairly new to the forums, presently I'm running FS9 onthe following system with the above mentioned graphicscard.Dual Core Intel Pentium 3Ghz3,300Mb DDR2 RAMWindows 7 home premium editionI use the following driver version:Driver Packaging Version 8.92-111109a-129965C-ATIand CCC 11.12In general FS9 runs smooth with my system (frames locked at 28)but with some aircraft (Ifly,LeveL D) my frame ratesexperience drops every few seconds to values in the middle teens. This happens only in 2D panel view, outside stays solidly at 28 frames. Not sure whether its really the graphics card, but thats my best guessafter trying everything else and otherwise my system seems to keep up.I'm not that knowledgeable with graphic cards and already gatheredthat ATI is not the best choice for flightsim, but anyhow is thereany older driver version recommended for this card to make it run better?Or any specific CCC settings for FS9 for optimal performance?Would be great, if someone could point me in the right direction .Best regards,Oliver
