  1. I can't thank you enough Howell. That fixed the problem for me. Thanks again, Charlie Burr
  2. I just wanted to follow up on this post. I think I've resolved the stutter issue with making some recommended changes through Nvidia Inspector that I got from an FSX forum. So far I'm really impressed with the 777-300 and SP1. So, maybe I'll need to eat my words on what I posted previously; one thing is certain though, PMDG does put my humble system to its limits. I do have one issue though that I haven't seen before. The PFD and ND displays will lock up-- not FSX or PMDG, just the displays don't update. Sometimes moving to another view and then back resolves the issue. I'm not sure, but that could be an EZDOC issue. Charles Burr
  3. The same thing happens to me. During descent everything freezes up. I never had this problem before installing the -300 or service pack. I hate to say it, and although I love flying the -300, I think there's a definite bug with either the service pack or the -300 package. Charles Burr
  4. Hello all, I had the exact same problem. I figured it wasn't the PMDG 777, but I was still trying to figure out what was happening (it only happened with the 777). I then tried the DPC latency checker. Sure enough, when running the 777, I saw an issue (Windows 7 was trying to use the wrong audio driver, possibly due to the new 777 sound files) . I went into the device manager and noticed that some abandoned sound card drivers had somehow become enabled again. Anyway, I disabled all of the NVIDIA audio drivers and kept my Sound Blaster driver enabled. This has solved my problem. Also, I had a 4 gig DIMM go bad (blue screens etc) previously and am now running on only 4 gig of RAM. I can definitely see why a minimum of 8 gigs is recommended (I think though that I'll take it all the way up to 16 gig-- might save me some headaches down the road. Thanks PMDG for a great product!
