  1. Same here. I just press ALT+ENTER to quickly set it back to full screen.
  2. I just found out that there is now a web version of the MSFS Marketplace. It's unofficial but it looks like the real deal and always seems up to date with the latest products. After browsing for a bit I found it very accurate when it comes to the prices shown, discounts, ratings and overall catalog. I think it can be useful if you want to checkout the Marketplace without having to launch the sim or if you are away from home. https://msfsmarket.place/featured/ Needless to say, it's just replica of the in-sim Marketplace and any purchases you want to make will have to be done via the official Marketplace.
  3. Yeah, during the holidays the sim was running fine but this all started ever since AAU1. Maybe the number of users grew too quick and Asobo/Microsoft weren't prepared for the spike in server load. Hopefully they address this issue soon.
  4. Seems like the disconnection issue is random for me. Sometimes I fire up the sim with no issues and other times it takes a while to get past the checking updates phase. At times I also get server disconnection issues during flight. I hope Microsoft/Asobo sort this out as as the sim was fine during the holidays. This all started after the AAU1 update.
  5. What puts me at ease is that Jorg takes MSFS very seriously and understands that this is not just a "game" but a hobby for many people. He's aware what happened last time when Microsoft closed the Aces Game Studio and he says that it can't happen again. So I'm sure he and the team will come up with a way to keep MSFS going for the foreseeable future.
  6. This is why I still buy add-ons at the Marketplace as much as I can to support the sim. Hopefully, with many others doing the same, the sim can stand the test of time for many years to come.
  7. The summer sale started around 11am PDT on July 15th which might explain why the summer sale ended before noon on Sunday. I agree that these sales should run until 11:59pm on the last day.
  8. Hey guys, just noticed that the Summer Sale has started at the MSFS Marketplace. 700+ products on discount and the sale will last until July 31st.
  9. Even the planes and helicopters in GTA V had a virtual cockpit. So a casual gamer would even be disappointed with the lack of cockpit on this plane from CS. It's Flight Simulator so the lack of a functioning cockpit is pitiful. I think it's just greedy from CS to pump out this kind of shovelware into the market because it will encourage other companies to cut corners and do the same.
  10. Finally someone who shares my frustrations with these white squares showing up at certain heights on all airports. I used to blame replacement textures but they have nothing to do with this phenomenon. If you use the drone and start going up you will see that at certain heights a grid-like pattern starts to appear over the airport textures in all airports around the world. This started happening after SU5. Below are some examples (all screenshots taken with default airport textures) I really hope Asobo fixes these horrible squares as they are such an immersion killer. I'm pretty sure everyone has this bug but few users have noticed it as they appear at certain heights and angles
  11. This type of add-on is not suited for the Marketplace, IMO. Marketplace updates take a while to be published for starters. Also, The one selling point of this add-on over Bijan's trees is the app itself and the automation which is not possible on Marketplace. You would also have to deal with the people who buy multiple seasons/presets and then complain that they don't work because they installed them at the same time. For those reasons I would still buy the SimMarket version any day.
  12. When I bought MSFS I came into it knowing that it was 10 year project. Meaning that there would be growing pains but all in all, I am very happy with what Asobo has done with MSFS so far. Obviously, there's some frustration by some users due to certain bugs/issues that pop up with every Sim Update but that's part of the growing pains. When it's all set and done I think Asobo will be regarded as one of the greatest flight sim companies in history.
  13. I've been using it for a good while now and I've been pretty satisfied with it. It nicely upgrades all default airports around the world with better taxiways, taxi lines, more weathered runways, and aprons among other things. No hit on FPS either. All in all, I would recommend it especially if it's on discount.
  14. Same. I updated Zinertek's 'Enhanced Airport Graphics' and 3 other add-ons from the Content Manager a couple days ago and suddenly I couldn't fully control my plane due to all Assistance Options being changed to easy. But at least now I know what's causing it. Here's hoping this Content Manager bug will be addressed in a HotFix soon.
  15. Same here Went back to DX11 and the everything in the assist menu got changed to easy. The external HUD reset to default and the objectives menu started popping up. So I share your same frustrations
