Hello fellow pilots. I have found in my closet a CD-ROM of the PSS Dash 8 turbo prop plane 300, 400 with all the paint skins for it also. I had forgotten all about and have a few questions. 1. Can I still install it on windows 10 machine. 2 can I still get airac files for it? FMC 3. is there anything better or is this as good as it will get? So after about 16 months out of the hanger I have decided to get back into the cockpit and do some flying. I am still in awe that this website is still going strong as I have not really followed it much since then. I look forward to learning and maybe relearning what I forgot about flying. Driving a truck for a living is a real time taker and as such the time away from flying. Now that I have offically retired and can spend more time I will be doing more flying.

Ok this may be silly and if so please bear with me. I am a big fan of radar contact and as such have made it my #1 ATC for my flight sim. As such I have seen where version 5 is now laid to rest and no more will be done. I am sadden by this but understand why. As a software developer myself I know all too well the demands that are put on your shoulders., As such I have one question. 1, hat would happen to radar contact if we could no longer register the program as a result of say the team putting the whole program to bed. or jd stops doing registrations. I hope not for he has done a very good job with it., But if this was to be the case and you could no longer register the program then what. $45.00 wasted or will he offer you a fix to allow you to use the program without registration. If not then I will have to look for another atc program to take it;'s place. I ask as I have been seeing some signs on the forums that this may soon come to pass. If not then no problems.

I am currently re installing my PMDG 747 and I do hope that with this new video card with 4 gigs of Video ram I can make it sing like a lady I hope to be able to find some paints for it so I will be looking around the sight for paints. Thanks for the heads up. Denis Davis BVA1920

After taking a 16 month Sabbatical form Flight simming. I have put fs9 back on my new computer and found that I have been away for way too long. I am now having to relearn all the little tips and tricks I use to know. After some trial and misses I am getting the hang of it again. I do have a couple of questions to ask thou 1. Is there still addon and other freeware/payware being made for fs9 or is it all FSX stuff now. 2. I need to get fsbuild back up and running. How do I get the updates for it. Hello, I do hope that you can help me out. I have the PMDG 737ng 700 and need to get it to reconize ils for rinway 09 at ksan which it 110.90. When i select the approach on the fmc, is show 111.55 instead. how can I change the fmc data files to show 110.90 instead. Any info would be greatlky appriciated. Denis Davis bva1920

Dear sir: I had to do a complete reinstall of radar contact due to my figers hitting the wrong key and deleting the radar contact folder. After I had reinstalled it I went to reactivate and as a result i sent in the information in the wrong format. I have sent it back in in the correct format and have log the info in my troubleshooting log for further reference. My question is, would the two cause any problems and if so can it be fixed. The second e-mail I sent is in the creect format so I guess that will go through. if you have any ifo or advice on how to regester it correctly then let me know. My Dear Friends: I am in need of any advice on where I can find some repaints of this lovely bird. I have flown if more than the sr-22 and enjoy it mutch better and would like to add something different to it. the default three color schemes are bland and I tire of them. If you know of any repaints for this mighty fine bird, please point me in the right direcxtion. I have searched avsim and found only the sr-22 series. I wish I could do the same here in the USA, But due to the TSA and all this POST 9/11 Stuff, Walking around the airport will likley get you arrested for tresspassing more than anything else.

Ok how about this idea, Years agai I was part of a developers group working on a POS Software package and I was incharge of impliment some form of access control for paying customers only. The idea that followed was this. 1. After customer bought software and had activated it, he was required to reactivate the software every 15 days or the software would not run. 2. All upgradeas and add-on that the developer offered was to be paid for first then installed last. Reactivation required after install. 4. If key was reused the software was useless. by the way this software was being sold for over $150,000.00 a copy. [Wal-mark was only company to look at it.] I was let go for being overzelous with security protcols on the software.
