Same "sensitive" device here - but in my case, setting the following null zones made it work extremely well:- ailerons : 14%- elevator : 12%- rudder: 20% :Hypnotized:Use the "Tutorials" -> MS Flight -> Early tutorials -> Adjust joystick sensitivity for detailed information on how to change your settings.

Journey to Alaska Pack announced!
Concasseur replied to KernalROM's topic in The Microsoft Flight (2012) Forum
Not necessarily - they may consider addressing a different/additional segment since they have the base platform - which would be some form of VA.MS already hit on most 3rd parties except VAs - I wouldn't be surprised (may actually like it) having some sort of in-game feature like working for a virtual company, fly regular flights, etc. We're all making suppositions at this moment and some MS guys may be 'eavesdropping' here, so why not? -
Silverlight is some technology related to multimedia (you may look at it as MS's attempt to reinvent the wheel, in this case Adobe Flash) and runs sandboxed -> shouldn't have anything to do with gaming input devices. In theory.Could be another issue on your system that may cause this behavior - I wonder if anyone else gets it.On the other side, if you found the way around the glitch - one more happy virtual pilot on the go.

Or you might even have some fun landing on some carriers along the way (read: every 250-300 miles) for a brief refuel. Just be careful enough not to mix your landing gear in the arresting wires Beat this, Acceleration! Going back on track, so far I'm convinced enough to get the cash out when it pops in, especially if it tags along some new fliers. -
Optimal configuration for MS Flight
Concasseur replied to albaran's topic in The Microsoft Flight (2012) Forum
I think you're more than safe with either CPU config, as long as the graphics card handles it .Hope this won't turn into some sort of a "my rig is tha b3st" flame, but Flight works as advertised. I've got a mid-range system - quad core 3.2GHz Phenom (B55, x2 CPU unlocked as x4), 4Gig DDR3 1600 and one old 9800GT nVidia card - works flawless with all settings set to High (not max), with some visible (but not annoying) FPS stutter in some conditions (already described in here). -

Thank you, Arwen - missed that part. It's good news, indeed. However, I got a feeling we'll be stuck with GA aircrafts for a while now. But it's going the right direction (initially, I've been on the "whats this arcade piece of ..." side). -

How to change from metric to imperial units?
Concasseur replied to Heimi's topic in The Microsoft Flight (2012) Forum
If you got Vista or 7, you could try the below approach (can't test it now): - create another user - configure that user's locale settings to what you need to run flight - run flight and see if you got imperial unitsIf all ok, I think it's possible to return to your normal user, but on flight's shortcut, configure it to run with the above created user's credentials.PS: needs to be tested, no Win machine around me at this time to be able to do it myself. -
How about trying to add 'PayPal' as payment method and buy the Maule directly, not with points?Might spare you some of the location related hassle.

FLIGHT POLL - One More Time!
Concasseur replied to Tom Allensworth's topic in The Microsoft Flight (2012) Forum
Another one of the many MS-corporate bull, restricting live access. However, this did not prevent a lot of people I know using a supported country for registration (you can easily find some hotel's address and postal code). They even got helped at MS support line when they had issues (explained why they used the different reg. address) - that happened for XBL, I see no reason it would be different for GFWL, same platform, different acronym. -
What aircraft do you want in Flight?

+1 from my side towards a Mooney (M20 turbo)
