  1. Yes same here at 15h21 CET local time in Belgium...
  2. That's not needed... I know it says you need like 175GB on your harddrive, but it actually only uses 2,5GB or something.
  3. From a user on Reddit, this did the trick for me: By default the game files themselves will likely be under C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_1.35.21.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe This is locked down by being owned by trusted installer so even an admin account can't acces it before you start fiddling permissions. Instead of dealing with a couple of layers of Microsoft trying to keep you out there is another way. Just open the Xbox app. Right click on MSFS and select administer. From this menu you can let the app move the game files. This is only a couple GB of base files being moved and your community folder and everything stays where it was (at least if you had a custom location for it - can't fully guarantee otherwise). Now the files are in C:\XboxGames\Microsoft Flight Simulator\Content and you can edit them without having to jump through any hoops. So plop the files in this folder and it works. Kind regards, Nico
  4. I'm not able to copy the files over to the MS Store folder... Any suggestions?
  5. I uncheck this option every time I fly the PMDG 737 or 777. To me, textures also remain pretty crisp (admittedly a little out of focus). I do notice a larger difference if you put the terrain radar on (larger squares), but it stays acceptable to me. The FPS gain is indeed very noticeable. In the Aerosoft Airbus X unchecking this option makes the displays unreadable...
  6. Hello, I was flying YBBN-VTPS this evening in the PMDG777. About halfway into the flight I got a CTD, with the faulting module being sound.dll Here is the error report: Fault bucket , type 0 Event Name: APPCRASH Response: Not available Cab Id: 0 Problem signature: P1: fsx.exe P2: 10.0.61472.0 P3: 475e17d3 P4: sound.dll P5: 10.0.61472.0 P6: 475e180f P7: c0000005 P8: 00019f18 P9: P10: I performed a search in this forum, but didn't find a solution. Could anyone help me out here? Thanks a lot! Kind regards, Nico
  7. Hi everyone, I've succesfully imported the Flightzone KPDX scenery for FS9 into FSX according to the instructions mentioned here: http://flyawaysimulation.com/downloads/files/8758/fsx-flightzone02-portland-scenery-patch/ It works like a charm. However, I must be honest, I like the Orbx PNW textures better than the low-res (FS9) photoreal portland textures that come with the scenery. Is there any way to remove them? I've been searching the net for hours now, but I only found a forum post from someone who claims to have done this, but without instructions. Thanks in advance for any help! kind regards, Nico
