  1. LOL try a flight around DC... much worse. B)
  2. Yeah I have tried that but it still gives me issues when trying to "grab" the knob have to click all over just to get ahold of it. Thanks for the advice though Azure. My passenger thank you as well. :Pig:
  3. LOL well I will use the scroll for now to hopefully correct this issue. (dreaming)... if only I had a working radio stack. :) I still need to connect my Saitek yoke and pedels, that might help a lot. Mouse flying has been a challenge to say the least especially when doing aerobatic flying.
  4. I too have some real life flying experience and enjoy the communication that comes from pilots who know what they are talking about. There is a small group of people that I have meet on Flight that will conduct themselves in this manner vs. the usual language used. What is your username and I can add you to my list so that we can get some serious players together. PS. We use different frequencies as well depending upon the actual airport freqencies that are posted. One of the pilots even created an account that plays an automated ATIS message on a set frequency.
  5. lol i bet it looks funny when i am changing radios as my plane will pitch wildly. I have made more than one passenger sick that way. :)
  6. Perhaps I will try the scroll bar. When you pause the mouse mode it will reactivate itself once you touch it again.
  7. I might have missed something, but when tuning radios in Flight it seems to take forever. I fly with my mouse pad on my laptop and when I go to change the radios my plane will pitch all over as I am changing the frequency. In addition, the hand to "grab" the knob will take forever to activate. My question is this... is there a way to change radio frequencies using the keyboard? This includes Nav and Com frequencies and selecting the primary source. I apologize if this has been asked/answered already. Thanks in advance. Razorhog703
  8. I did it!!!! The best way is to set your parking brake and come in nice and slow. That way you can stop short. Good Luck everyone!
  9. I never heard of this site till today. Have any of you had any experience using this?http://www.flightgear.org/about/Perhaps it will be something interesting until MS FLIGHT releases some new DLC.
  10. Microsoft Flight:I have been strict Microsoft Flight flyer since the program was released. I have downloaded both the Maule and the Hawaii/RV pack. I have been more than happy with the program and the graphics. In addition, I will continue to purchase aircraft and scenery from Microsoft Flight. I was disappointed in finding that the P51 and the Zero will not have a cockpit and thus I will not purchase them. I do not agree with people who are slamming Microsoft for releasing a Zero as this is a historic plane. Releasing it in Hawaii does not matter, kids will be kids and if they choose to spend their time crashing into memorials then they will do so with any aircraft available.I know that you have received the negative outpuring of comments, and hopefully you will release more products in the future. I will be waiting to purchase the future DLC that appeals to me. In the meantime, I haven't picked up FSX in a long time and will continue to spend my flight time in Microsoft Flight. Hope to see you flying around.-Razorhog703
  11. ... wouldn't it be so awesome to wait 6 months to release the SR-71 without a cockpit? lol (joke) I hope this is the last plane to be released without a cockpit. Please don't make that mistake again. If you are a user that doesnt use cockpits then good for you, either way you can use external view, what if they released a plane with no external view?
  12. Oh maybe they will release a cockpit package in 2 months for the P51 and Zero... For a low low price of $19.95.
  13. It doesnt make any sense releasing an aircraft with no cockpit? none at all...#disappointed
  14. Agree totally... this is a Flight game? Not a combat game, what were you thinking?
  15. well... No cockpit view is included = No money from RazorHog703 :Talking Ear Off:
  16. I think Alaska will have something else... this is just an aircraft release... hopefully :Praying:
  17. lol maybe a mission will be Pearl Harbor battle... SAVE THE ARIZONA!!!! lol
  18. I totally buy Japanese.... cars, not sure about this aircraft though... nice work Microsoft... :Worried:
  19. LOL so wait another month for a new aircraft... Perhaps Alaska will include one or two with the scenery?
  20. I hope this isn't the only aircraft presented. Seriously, that was the surprise? A fighter to match the P-51? It might be fun if they update a cockpit for the P-51 first.
  21. Ha Ha well I wasn't saying that I would be the one to import the aircraft, however I would not be against Microsoft's DEV team "stealing" their own code in FSX to place in Flight.
  22. I can see the points made, however I have taken limited Java and programming classes and it would seem that the aircraft in FSX have already been developed and tested, would it be possible to "copy" any of that code and make it useable in Flight? Sure there may need to be adjustments, but they are both Microsoft products so copyright should not be an issue. That would give at least 10 more aircraft for Flight.
  23. As everyone else that is posting in this forum, I am enjoying flying in the new world of Flight. Likewise I check AVSIM forum and https://news.microsoftflight.com/blogs/news/ for the updates to Flight. This program has brought a level of excitement that I am throughly happy with. I am waiting like everyone for more downloadable content. My question is this... How long does it take to develop a working aircraft model that we can have implemented in Flight? We have beat to death the question of what kinds of scenery and aircraft should be implemented, but just how long does it take to release a single aircraft to the game (with cockpit). I will hang up and listen now. :)
