  1. Sure would enjoy one of these... Hopefully they have already developed it and will release at a later date. This aircraft would allow for some passenger transport. Something that I really enjoy. Still small enough to get in and out of the smaller (EDIT: not smallest) airports in Alaska and Hawaii. CRJ 200 = FUN!!!!
  2. I hope they do just that... Flight is a great platform, would hate to see it disolve away, especially if there is something in the closet still. Make that money Microsoft. :)
  3. Once we get a plane that is around airline size, I think it would be fun.
  4. Yeah... floats are fine, but pick another plane for that task... The 182 would be all I would fly if they would put it in the game... unless they included a Leer.
  5. Nothing that is a taildragger please... lol. I am all for the Cessna 182 with retractable gear and of course a virtual cockpit. I would like to have a flight where I can take off raise the gear and cruise at a respectable speed (over 105kts). This aircraft has been a staple for all of the flight sims before and it should be implemented. Heck, I would spend so much time in Hawaii and Alaska they would never need to release another geographical area. (GASP!!)
  6. Good Luck getting a signal out there... even with Verizon. :Applause:
  7. Oh I agree... lol I said that with my tongue firmly pressed in my cheek. :LMAO:
  8. This does look cool. Will have to try it as well. Nice screenshots.
  9. I have to say that I do not agree. If you pay attention to your heading and do not deviate from the course that you are taking then you should only have to hit the M key 2 or 3 times in flight. I do not understand why you would need to keep going back to the map over and over. #confused
  10. I agree, if they do this for the Carbon Cub then perhaps the others will soon follow. Based on popularity of course. :Big Grin:
  11. After flying around Alaska for a bit have you found any unique airports that would be interesting for fellow pilots to try to land at? Here are a few of my favorites: http://www.airnav.com/airport/PALR/ Chandalar Lake Airport http://www.airnav.com/airport/PAWB/ Beaver Airport http://www.airnav.com/airport/PASC/ Deadhorse Airport
  12. That looks totally like the Carbon Cub cockpit. Why couldn't they just release it with the Alaska DLC. :) I think they are messing with us. Anyway, will be fun to have the cockpit for that new plane. I hope you all are enjoying Alaska as much as I am. See you all in the air.
  13. Due to the way that the light is shining on the curved tail I feel that it is most likely a Corsair vs. the Hellcat. Hellcat looks more boxy in my opinion.
  14. Please be the Corsair!!! http://forum.avsim.net/topic/372983-f4u-corsair/
  15. Looks like Microsoft called my bluff releasing the Corsair. Time to get my funds ready. This one is going in my hanger for sure. :) GO NAVY!!!!
  16. It would be cool if we could have a way to communicate back to them. Maybe a 3 question or answer box that will appear every 5 min or something. Would be nice if we could help calm them down so that even if they got unhappy we could "convince" them otherwise. :Pig:
  17. Wasn't Combat Flight Simulator released back in 2004? Are the graphics still worth it?
  18. Informative, but how does the P-51 fit into Hawaii theme? Not arguing, just a question.
  19. Thats awesome having family with such a strong aviation background.
  20. Hard to fly = more fun. It would help users learn about handling, power, speed (t/o and landing) ... list goes on and on.
  21. The F4U always reminded me of the Star Wars Imperial Shuttle, lol or maybe I should say that the other way around...
  22. hmmm, hopefully they will release one of the vintage Naval fighters. (with working folding wings) :Peace:
  23. This may be due to the fact that if you make a right turn you would be crossing the path of the bridge of the carrier. This is due to the bridge being on the right side of the ship. Doing so would endanger the crew, captain, and navigation of the ship. But I may be just speculating.
  24. Oh, I didn't know that they were following that format. http://www.flyingheritage.com/TemplateHome.aspx?contentId=1 Hmmm, F6F Hellcat would be in my hanger if that is the case. Go NAVY!!
