  1. Hi, I also had trouble with 8 minutes freezes after which FSX resumes. In my case I first experienced this issue with the PMDG777. After weeks of testing i found it was caused by the ATC chatter files that played in the background. After turning them off i never had another freeze. Recently i had the same freeze with the airbus extended. Again i could prevent the freezes by disabling the flight and cabin crew sounds that play in the background. So I'm quite positive this is caused by some sound conflict. Possible fixes so far: -Update and install correct Realtek driver instead of default windows version -Disable the option in audio config of windows that allowed applications to take exclusive control of your audio device -install and update nvidia hd audio drivers -disable all audio devices except onboard device I'm not really sure if one of thess will 100% solve this issue, however i believe the solution to be sound related!
  2. Great work! Truly amazing, thanks

Hi, I also had freezes happening while in flight since i installed the T7. FSX frooze with sound running for 8-10 minutes and then continued as normal. Only fuel consumption went on during the freeze. It happened randomly but very annoying. Never had this with any other addon, including the NGX. After weeks of troubleshooting every addon, I isolated the problem to be sound related. As soon as I disabled the prerecorded ATC chatter I use in my ATC app, all freezes where gone! I suspect the real culprit to be the fact that i used the default audio driver from windows. I lookup up my exact sound chipset and installed the latest driver. Have been flying now without any freezes! So don't rule out your soundcard when having similar issues! Also you can try this: Windows Control Panel > Hardware and Sound >Sound 1. Select playback tab 2.Right click play back device (speakers) 3. Select properties > Advanced Tab 4.Make sure there are NO ticks in the exclusive mode box 5. Click apply Good luck, Remko v G
  4. Yes, i own aerosoft LSZH and have seen the same thing happen there on the NGX. Just before touchdown the plane banks very heavily into the ground. Could also be AS which i was using at the time. I'm now using opus and landed there fine yesterday. I'm not sure whether it is related to the weather or the scenery as it only happened to me there.
  5. Yes, you can download a freeware utility to save the process priority in windows. Then you don't have to set it again every time you fly. First try and see if it works for you as well.
  6. Hi, I had the same issue after switching from Ezca to opus for camera management. To make things smooth I set process priority to High for both opusserver.exe and trackir.exe in windows task manager. This solved all issues I had involving smoothness, flickering, twitching etc. Ezca has this as a option as well in its program settings.
  7. Same here! Have been using REX weather as well as ASA before, but both of them never reached the same level of accuracy as OPUS does. The fact that i can also drop EZDOK for view management is an extra bonus feature to me! Also the 'new' PROATCX i'm using is able to read the OPUS weather data on my arrival airport! All of this has greatly improved my flight sim experience! Just like OP i will try out the latest Trackir software because although smooth i do get the occasional jitter every now and then.
