  1. My two pence worth Aim at a cloud over the nose, I find I can react to the nose moving quicker than looking at the triangles of runway that Dudley talks about. Secondly don't move the throttle past 35 inches until you're doing at least 60 knots, you'll have much better rudder authority when the tail comes up and the power comes on. Keep practising T
  2. The validation key is only required for the the data provider on the FSX machine. The display unit on a separate machine doesn't need the validation key. Cheers
  3. I don't update Navdata every cycle but I've found it's worth syncing all your addons to the same cycle, so that you can be confident that the SIDs/STARs etc you get from FSBuild or PFPX are the same as NGX or Airbus uses. I've also used the free airport design editor (ADE) to update ILS frequencies and courses that FSX uses to match your Navdata. I've come unstuck on a few flights where the FSX ILS frequencies don't match what the NGX database says and end up aborting the approach when the glideslope doesn't show up! Just getting started with PFPX but having the weather maps and map to select the right SIDs and STARs is a big plus compared to FSBuild.
