  1. I too have a difficult time with the bar light. But here is how I deal with it... I keep my beer firmly wedged between the power levers!! Happy flying!
  2. Hey Tim..... Are you SURE the seals on the Scotch were not broken before the vibrations happened? Wait a minute....that would of helped smoooth out the flight! Glad you got it figured out! Happy flying
  3. Hi to all you fellow flight sim addicts I have tried with no success to have the GPWS sound off when it is supposed to. All I get is a granite toothache, no warning at all! Is it something I am missing or does it not work? Thanks
  4. Ya you guys, I really like the aircraft I have the 90, 200, and 1900 from Carenado...but I am absolutely perplexed as to why they dont make the commands to this and other options clearly labeled. Also, there is a complete lack of operation manual! .....just thunka something...I have the PMDG 4100 Jetstream and they have EXCELLENT documentation. I was hoping they would have made their B1900 upgrade to FSX but are not. Should check and see if they have a manual online...
  5. Hi Taz. Boy this cheeky little bird just wants to get up and go flying eh? (Sorry, Canadian here I have just spent the last two hrs testing the controls and here is how I did it. Fuel: 1300 pounds Payload: 1300 pounds (basically, 1/2 max gross weight. Yes, it DOES make a difference to the all up weight) After start up when engines are running normal, - Pull Props back to 0% - Pull Condition Levers back to 5%...Careful! Too far back and the engine shuts down! - Power up slowly until she starts to roll, pulling back to Idle around 15Kts Left like this, she will slowly pick up speed to about 30Kts after rolling out for 5000 feet. To slow down either tap the brakes or as I like to do, I will pull the props back one notch to FEATHER them, then back up one notch to continue. This bird is so nicely modeled (IMHO) that if she is lighter she WILL speed up and go faster, and if loaded to the max she takes longer and does not get up to that speed....25Kts is the max I got. As hard as it may be take an evening, pick a long runway, (turn off "Detect Crashes", you don't want planes to land on you and spoil the fun!), and practice this. HAVE FUN!!
  6. Ah yes...look in the right spot Jimmy! Thanks for the reply!
  7. I love their planes but documentation must have blown out the window on delivery! Does anyone know if and how to open cargo doors, wheel chocks, engine covers and the like? I think the developers are so busy making these fine aircraft, that by the time they are done, they mischeviously leave out these details and are snickering to themselves! Just kidding of coarse
  8. In terms of cockpits, VC only, no 2D. I will re and re the B90 later this week and see what happens.....
  9. Details about my computer Hi Jeff, thanks for replying so fast! Here is the info on my set up. I'm running an LG Flatron 22 for my primary screen and a Dell 19"(?) flat screen as the secondary. I am able to move the windows between the two monitors with other planes I fly. I think I may have not installed the B90 correctly so maybe I should remove and reload it? 10. I use two monitors when flying, one for virtual cockpit and exterior views and the other for undocked windows with Autopilot, Gps etc. whenever I move the windows over to the second monitor they black out. If I try to move them back...fatal error! End of flight!...time for a brew! Any ideas out there? Thanks guys, Jim.
  11. I find that chewing gum and yawning is the simplest way to deal with cabin pressurization.....as well as the ONLY way I know about dealing with it :LMAO:
  12. Yes I got it working! for some reason the scenery I have for CYYJ will not let me open up when on the apron but no problem off apron. And yes the socks and stuff are now showing! Thanks again guys Jim
  13. Thanks for the info guys, I'll give it a shot after work today....I'm thinking "set parking brake" may have something to do with it
  14. I can"t seem to be able to activate the parked accessories or open and close luggage/engine compartments. For some reason, when pressing Shift-E the door opens part way then slams shut! Getting to love this plane even though POH is virtually non existing! PMDG rules in that category....but they don"t have a Beech Turboprop for FSX.
