I have notice the same cpu activity on my 4 core 8 tread. When look at cpu and temp thay often go all fluxtuating Also I can see core 0 (from 0 to 7) a bit higher than others. BTW I am using a laptop on i7-2630QM 2.0 only with turboboost at 2.6 when all core working. I set Flight at HIGH all the way (not maximum) and my CPU is often lower than 50% My biggest restriction is my GPU (Mobility Radeon 6570M) pretty fast for a laptop but still running 98% around large airport. I can mantain 21 FPS in the large airport and 30 to 60 in more generic I also notice I get smooter FPS by using Vertical Sync ON. Probalbly Flight is saving GPU cycle not trying to over achive 60 FPS Thank you

Flight is new to me, and thank you for your recommendations. My system is a laptop i7 2630QM 4 core 2.0/2.9 in turboboost and ATI Mobility Radeon 6570M. 8GB RAM Did you test with the GPU option to let the application or the GPU to take care of the Antialising and other GPU options. Thank you. Just for your information, I try with and without the Vertical Sync option on the main menu. I found the with vertical sync check, I get more stable FPS and my GPU is working less. This option will CAP your FPS to near your native display refresh rate. Without the option, the GPU seem to try get as many FPS as possible and waisting GPU resources Have a good Flight!

I am new to Game (never play game on computer before), but I start in February with Flight. This is more then a game for me because I discover about flying. I just want to point out that Microsoft must have great plan with Flight, because I notice a lot of Awards that will be impossible to acheive without major upgrades. Ex: Diamond Passenger Award. 1,000,000 passengers transport. I am sure they have plan for commercial jet. Thank you
