Damn. Seeing even worse frames at airports like Aerosoft Frankfurt in DX10 with the PMDG NGX (10-18 fps mostly). Combine that with the lack of sufficient AA, ugh. Just about giving up on this game. Thanks a lot for all your efforts man. It is probably unrealistic to aim for a steady 30FPS in an airport like Frankfurt (in the PMDG VC mind you), which seems to be a benchmark-test for high-end computers really. I suppose these numbers pretty much add up considering you're at .3 more GHZ than me. It's not a deal-breaker in any way, I mean, Frankfurt seems to be one of the worst, and even that's tolerable. But it would've been nice to run it completely jag-free! :)

Here ya go m8: http://depositfiles.com/files/tj17wbgmu I am averaging around 15 FPS blasting down the runway 07C and taking off. Panning and looking out the left window brings FPS down to 10-12 at some points. After the wheels are off the ground, I pretty soon hit over 20 FPS. Looking out the window on your left after takeoff brings the FPS down to 12-17 until the football stadium is out of sight.

No difference sorry to say. I guess my computer just isn't quite capable of running Mega Airports & PMDG together at the high levels at this point. May look at overclocking the CPU a little more

Word Not Allowed, I did follow your guide which was very helpful, and I think I gained a couple of FPS around the bigger airports aswell as a very good game experience outside of them (In Aerosoft Keflavik for instance, I pretty much average 30FPS). But I'm still averaging 17-22 FPS in Frankfurt in the PMDG VC. TO be honest, as someone else mentioned, maybe my expectations are set a bit too high, especially with my settings as they are (but I don't like the feeling of "settling" for less realism so to speak) As requested here are my ingame settings:

That sounds very good man. What are your in-game settings like? Have you applied any tweaks to your cfg? I've tried disabling hyperthreading, but I noticed no difference. It's definitely the PMDG eating up a lot of the frames, as I'm flying the airport in smaller planes with pretty much 30 FPS

Alright, thanks for clearing that up. Been fiddling with my configurations all day, gained a couple of FPS but still stuck in the 15-20 fps range for Frankfurt

I do have MyTraffix X, but I don't remember what it's configured at. I haven't really noticed any traffic lately now that I think of it.. WHere do I see the % MTX is set at? My default traffic is set to 0 in-game

I can't believe this ######. I've tried every setting, every configuration. My computer WILL NOT push for more than 16 FPS on the ground at Aerosoft Frankfurt in the PMDG 737-800, and looking at some places of the airport, as low as 11 FPS. What a waste of freaking time and money. Back to playing BF3 smoothly at max settings I suppose

This is my setup: ASUS P9X79 Motherboard (LGA2011) Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit Intel i7-3820 @ 4.5 ghz (OC'd) 8GB DDR3 KINGSTON "DUALCHANNEL" HYPER-X RAM clocked at 1626 MHZ GEFORCE GTX680 2GB DDR5 2TB SATA 6GB/s 7200 RPM Iiyama E2475HDS 24' LED 1920x1080 FullHD 2 ms monitor Yet when I use a combo of addons like this (which I spent heaps of money on): REX Essential, UTX, GEX, World mesh, PMDG 737NGX, ASX12 + any of the major airport addons from Aerosoft like Charles de Gaulle, Frankfurt, Heathrow or Flytampa Athens, I only see 15 FPS on average when either on the ground, or looking at the airport from above. Panning views on the ground is extremely annoying due to the stuttering 10(!) FPS I'm getting. I realize it's a lot of add-ons at once, but I want the most realistic experience, and quite frankly, I thought a setup like mine should be able to run a 2006 game smoother. I used venetubo for my CFG. Framerate is locked to 30 internally. I also tried NickN's and other's CFG's to no avail.
