  1. Greetings all, This will be my first post here on AVSIM. I have been running FS9 for a couple of years now. I have been facing this problem in FS9 since the beginning. My textures don't load as far away as i want. Upon seeing my sim from top-down view, the sim makes a kind of a circle, in which the textures are loaded but outside that circle the textures are not loaded and will not load until i reach that area and then so on so forth. Attached herewith is also a link to a picture that i uploaded showing the problem. Any help on this would be highly appreciated. I have tried most of the tweaks including Nick's cfg file tweaks, but unfortunately did not get any major improvement. My system is good enough for FS9, if not the best in the world http://prntscr.com/4w7xj2
  2. Thanks Alot Andy it worked. now i can do night flying
  3. Hi in the last 2 or 3 months my FS9 ( which i tuned the .cfg file of ) is showing some kind of wierd colours at night, dusk and dawn. the picture is self explanatory. any help would be appreciated

  5. hello everyone, i recently did a new installation of windows 7 and as usual didnt back up some files. i had this sound pack in which on the takeoff role , as the airplane gained speed would make a wheel rumble sound or a flickering sound u may call it. a very nice addition to the takeoff roll or the landing. i currently dont know which sound pack was it if any one of you could help me i will be very great full. thanks in advance
  6. hello everyone ! I recently found out something about my computer which i wanted to share here and also hope to get some help from professionals 1.My specs : intel i5 ---> 2.5 ghz with TURBO BOOST TO 3.1GHZ RAM : 8gb video card : Nvidia GT630m 2gb 2. what i am running : Fs9 PMDG737 Ground environment xtreme 3. Now the main problem. From the start i had a FPS problem , i usually got 10-15 with this computer which eventually led me to monitor the Intel Turbo boost technology 2.0 while running the Flight sim. what i saw was a bit of surprise for me. I was getting the same 10-15 FPS and the turbo boost showed no boost that is that the computer was running at 2.5ghz . then it slightly provided a boost which immediately resulted in the FPS increase to around 20. NOW MY MAIN QUESTION IS THAT WHY ISNT IT PROVIDING TURBO BOOST ALL THE WAY UPTO 3.1 GHZ SO THAT I CAN HAVE A BETTER GO AT THE FLIGHT SIM. IN OTHER WORDS IS THERE A MANUAL WAY TO MAKE IT GO ALL THE WAY TO 3.1 ? THIS PROBLEM IS REALLY ANNOYING AND I CANT GET GOOD FPS TO RUN IT SMOOTHLY. WHILE I DO HAVE THE POWER, I CANT UTILIZE IT. ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED . THANKS
