Prepar3D Cannot Find The Default Aircraft Files
- Ezdok and GSX
Try to changing GSX key assignments from Ctrl+F12 to other combination no containing F12 key. I did GSX assignment to 1+Tab and when I did it EZCA started to work normally. Althought I didn´t have any EZCA key assignment with F12 key, for some strange reason having EZCA and GSX installed in P3D v.2.5 when GSX is called to work stops EZCA. In this way I resolved this issue. I hope this will serve you. Regards.- Prepar3D Cannot Find The Default Aircraft Files
No, I didn´t install any airplane or scenery, just I was using the simulator and shutted down it. A few minutes after when I tried to start again P3D, the problem started. My P3D v.2.5. version is 12942.- My p3d is broken
Maybe this thread can help if you couldn´t solve this issue. http://forum.avsim.net/topic/468092-prepar3d-cannot-find-the-default-aircraft-files/ At post #11 I referred how I solved this situation. ´Sorry for my english and regards. Hugo Rodriguez- Prepar3D Cannot Find The Default Aircraft Files
Last sunday, I experienced this issue. Nothing works to repair the simulator. Then I serched for the default flight in P3D, which is located in C:\User\Your Name\AppData\Local\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v2. As I remember (now I´m not in front of my simulator PC), the file is called "Default flight.FXML", I opened it with an editor and I compared this file with the name of the file, then I could notice that the name of the file was changed form "Default flight.FXML" to "Default_flight.FXML". When I erased the symbol "_", and restarted the simulator, magically it return to life and started normally with the default F22 aircraft as allways. For some strange rason, the simulator in the shutdown changed this file name and also other file in the same folder named "Default weather.FXML" to "Default_weather:FXML". This information may be usefull avoiding a full simulator reinstalation. Finally excuse any mistakes in my english, because it is not my native language. Regards. Hugheddie replied to Hugheddie's topic in System Hardware: PC | MOBO | RAM | CPU | HDD | SSD | PSU etcThank you Efrain! I will keep in mind de-liding cuestion. Shurely when I get.it installed I will start to use it at standard CPU clock, later maybe I will try with a soft O.C.. Thanks for your opinion. Nos vemos!- New PC configuration for FSX
Hugheddie replied to Hugheddie's topic in System Hardware: PC | MOBO | RAM | CPU | HDD | SSD | PSU etcAhhh, it´s a good data. I think to do only a lillte bit O.C.. Thank you, I hope with this configuration FSX runs smootly, without drop of frames.- New PC configuration for FSX
Hugheddie replied to Hugheddie's topic in System Hardware: PC | MOBO | RAM | CPU | HDD | SSD | PSU etcThank you Ben for your opinion, but why do you say "Be sure to de-lid that CPU before you get it installed"? Have the proccesor known temperature problems?. Thanks again.- New PC configuration for FSX
Hi everybody. I am trying to build a new PC for FSX. The configuration I selected is: Motherboard: ASUS Maximus V Formula Proccesor: Intel I-7 3770K @ 3.5 Ghz. Processor Cooler.: Cooler Master V8 RAM: 16 Gb. DDR3 Mushkin Redline 2133 Mhz Video: ASUS GTX680 2Gb DDR5 SSD: ADATA 128 Gb SATA 3 (for OS) SSD: Samsung 830 Series 256 Gb. (for FSX and files) HDD: Western Digital Black Edition 1 Tb. Power: Cooler Master Silent Pro 1000W DVD W/RW SATA LG Case: Sentey GS-6700 Spider Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bits I wanna know if this configuration is ok for FSX, and if it let me run the simulator with good fps with add-ones like PMDG B747-400 y 747-8i; Level-D B767-300; PMDG B737 NGX, Aerosoft Barajas, Los Angeles, Helsinki, etc.. Now I´m running FSX in a computer 5 years old (built in 2007): Intel Core 2 Duo Q6600 @ 2.4 Ghz RAM 4 Gb. DDR3 Talent 1333 Mhz Video ASUS 8800GTX 768 Mb 2 HDD 500Gb. each one Power: Tagan 1000W Case: Thermaltake Tsunami Dream OS: Windows Vista Ultimate 32 bits. With this machine tunning fsx.cfg and rebuilding periodically page files, I can get 18-35 fps, but for moments, fps fall to 3-4 fps (not always only for 1 or 2 minutes during flight). After 5 years I think it is a good moment to built a new PC following with this hobby. I will apreciate your opinions about the new configuration. Thanks in advance and sorry if I made some mistakes in the post, but I speak mainly in spanish. Hugo Rodriguez Argentina - Ezdok and GSX
