So basically, this is an issue like no other. When flying the Captain Sim 757 I get a crash to desktop. This does not happen instantly, however. This usually happens when I am a quarter of the way through the flight. There is simply no warning, just, (Microsoft Flight Simulator X has stopped working).
So I decided to go in to the Event Viewer and found the following details related to the error:
Faulting application name: fsx.exe, version: 10.0.61472.0, time stamp: 0x475e17d3
Faulting module name: Captain_Sim.b757.fms.GAU, version: 4.2.0.0, time stamp: 0x492c2afd
Exception code: 0xc0000005
Fault offset: 0x000c41ba
Faulting process id: 0x8f0
Faulting application start time: 0x01cf7934bbfd7aca
Faulting application path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\fsx.exe
Faulting module path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\SimObjects\Airplanes\CS_B757-200\panel\Captain_Sim.b757.fms.GAU
Report Id: 1cefd698-e52e-11e3-ac94-bcee7b88a2ff
So it appears to be related directly to the Captain_Sim.b.757.fms.GAU file, but I am not sure what is actually causing the crash. I've re-installed my Captain Sim product and still, nothing!
Does anyone know how to fix this problem?
Thanks!
