For me FSUIPC + WideFS allows me to do things I just can't any other way.
Sounds like you have an assignment clash, so check in FSX too.

Am interested in this product but as well as comments saying this is an awesome add on there are a lot that say it looks very dated.
I like systems depth but also a degree of immersion so having something that looks decent in the VC is a must as that is where I do all my flying from, I tend also to not use any 2D pop ups either.
For those that have this add on, would you recommend this product in 2013 for someone used to A2A interiors although who find the updated Eaglesoft Citation X and the Feelthere ERJ V2 acceptable for immersion?
Any comments would be appreciated.

I find that VOX does this similar to what I experience on VATSIM. VOX controls the AI traffic so you'll find it getting vectored and responding to same as well as yourself.
Like I said I find VOXATC and VATSIM to be complimentary to each other.

It's immersion enhancing is why.

Would be interested to hear from people how A2A's aircraft stack up as I love their machines.
-
Is VOXATC injection still random, without obeying parking assignments defined in the AFCAD? That was my biggest problem with it.
Not sure what you mean but there was a lot of work put in to the ground traffic for the latest release, big stuff spawns at big stuff locations and GA at GA locations and you have to hold an wait etc. Works well.
Would suggest trying out the demo for a week to see if it meets your expectations.

I use VOXATC as a training environment for VATSIM and for when there isn't ATC online for where I want to fly. Nice combination.

When you take your 3 year old daughter to see planes taking off at RW27R EGLL and call out 'V1, Rotate' just before they do.
You read the above and knew exactly where we were

BTW Office as a subscription model is an example of doing something right, it's something I use personally and will be migrating to at work.

If you like an F-18 the VRS Superbug will blow your mind, http://www.vrsimulations.com/FA18EFSX.htm
with TACPAK you'll be able to dogfight other planes!

I can't remember when I flew a default aircraft as now I fly with real air, eaglesoft, a2a etc they are very pale.
Someone mentioned the a2a cub, nice simple aircraft that flies very well.
For freeware the goshawk as you mentioned is great and try the basket bt6 turbo for a fantastic add on.
If you like GA then the a2a civ mustang is an awesome aircraft, on VATSIM my flights are all p51 and citation x at the moment.

You want to follow the checklist on this plane, would also recommend the training vids by cxaviator on YouTube.
You can shorten the alignment time by clicking on the two IRS test buttons after selecting Nav, after you enter present position, bingo they are aligned.
One tip one the nav auto pilot, sometimes heading hold wont kick in the very first time, just click alt hold on and off as well and will be perfect after that. I suspect it's a variable that sometimes doesn't get initialised.
Ps you want to RTFM this plane
-
#2 is correct, its not in FSX.
PS If you want a small fast aircraft, mine is the A2A Civ Mustang, complements the CX well. CX is fastest bizjet, Cciv Mustang is fastest GA aircraft.

I get a no order found error message so no dash 8 for me for a while, suspect everything is in melt down.
-
Who came up with this...... seriously? you can't connect the tiller handle to the rudder???
Whilst hating to sound like captain obvious I have to agree 100%

The Pro version will be "NGX" like. The training will have separate features-not systems wise though- that we will neve use. It's for "Training"
Lee
From memory the training version has stuff like an instructors station that can set up failures and stuff?
-
$195 dollars?
Highway robbery.
""TRAINING" edition is dedicated to the airlines, wishing to have a good quality inexpensive solution for the Dash8 Q400 technical and procedural training for both technical staff and the flight crews." - Unless you want a desktop trainer because you're running an airline I suspect this isn't for you as your comment suggests.
-
Not bad for exterior only. B)
Oh yeah, dont get me wrong its awesome, just saying what it is.
-
Yo baby, Yo baby, Yo!
-
It's an external model only really, nice for an easter egg pack though.
-
N4gix, your post has made up my mind on what plane I own to learn next, cj1+ it is, thank you.

-
The CX will be the fastest aircraft you own, but if you wanted something different, put the A2A Civ Mustang on your list too. I tend to fly the CX and P51 Mustang all the time.
-
Its worth buying at full price tbh, great aircraft.
Level D 767 - would you still rate it in 2013?

I've posted on the level D forums asking if they would consider a VC update in much the same way that Eaglesoft did with their Citation X as from what I gather the VC is the only sticking point on this aircraft for many.
